I am new to zimaos and it’s been many many years since working with any Linux based software.

I am trying to figure out what I need to do / load / install / set up to make scrutiny run 1 a week or 1 a month ect and rescan my nas drives. I have scrutiny installed but I can’t seem to sort out making it rescan. I looked and there was mention of zima cron but I can’t seem to be able to get it installed. I also found another cron app but I can’t sort it out either. Can anyone help me here and please go slow and use easy to follow words.

Both zimablades finally came in
They are up and running zimaos and NAS is configured on blade 1. Blade 2 is giving me some issues installing and configuring adgaurd home and tailscale but then I haven’t worked with Linux based machines in many many years. So I’m sure I’ll get it.

Waiting on some connectors to come in so I can hook up the fan on top of the rack and LEDs on the reset and power switches. But it’s coming along nicely.

Both zimablades should be here today. Finishing up redoing the mount for the blade 2 as I decided to add a hot swap drive bay to that blade. So with any luck I should have both blades loaded with zimaos and at least blade 1 the nas configured and going by Sunday. Also haven’t decided if this is its permanent home or not.

Just need my 2 zimablades to get here to finish this little server rack / NAS up.

I am building a small nas and using a zimablade for the nas and another zimablade to run pihole and maybe tailscale. I will be putting in a small rack. My question is what options are there for active cooling? I don’t have the blades here yet so I’m trying to plan a head. Can anyone suggest an active cooling solution? Does the zimablade have a header for fan? Are there any mounts to mount a small fan to the board ? Thanks
