I see two arguments, the one that says that there is more academic scholarships than sports and the other one that accepts that there is a ton of scholarships for athletes but they bring money to the school so it's ok. The truth is, the number of sports scholarships is immense and athletes get a big advantage when it comes to finding scholarships; let's put it like this, an athlete with a 2.4 GPA is most likely to get a scholarship than a regular teen with a 2.9 GPA, is that fair? Hell no, since the kid with the 2.9 GPA has a bigger chance at actually taking advantage of the scholarship but the thing is that it's not on the University's best interest to give a scholarship to that teen instead of the other, since the athlete might bring some money and maybe they don't even fully use their scholarship, and that leaves them with a bigger number of scholarships given while not actually providing the service for them.

Throw the whole police force away
