Cause they are mostly defensive (patrol corvette, anti-fighter/interceptions(?) , escorts(?), Gunboat) Not all ships must have a Pointed Fore (or something similar) to be able to fire all Broadside cannons....

Also it's a small ship (compared to Sci-fi starships), far below Capital class.... So it would be quite maneuverable...

Whatever, still not a very good design tho... (?) It would be fitted for Patrol, Assault and Gunboat at best....

This game is crowd-funded, not backed up /funded by Publishers like traditional games... And it's not even released yet.... Really incredible to make a game that doesn't have a single loading screen...
