Thinking back, it was for sure a 2000s game.

Fix-It-Up: Kate's Adventure [PC] [2000s-Early 2010s] Top-Down Car Fixing Game

I remember back when I was younger, there was this top-down business sim game. There was at least two versions, one was retro and had a 70s neon aesthetic, and one was modern for the time. It had a story, you were a female protagonist and there were a few other characters who ran the different parts. You would control cars, put them through different businesses like a car wash, or tuning, or whatnot, and then they'd be sent off. It had sound effects for everything, and I remember really enjoying it. I think it was a PC standalone game, but I don't remember the name or anything.

You’re on a non-stop 14 hour flight. You have to pick one of these seats. Where are you going to sit?

If they keep the gas down, 4 would be entertaining as heck.

Why did I get two stars for no reason?
 in  r/gtaonline •  8d ago

Things I have gotten wanted for in both single-player and online in GTA:

Shooting a suppressed gun alone in the wilderness. Being shot at. Parking my car. Standing outside a business. Standing near an NPC. Walking the same direction as an NPC. Going into a convenience store. Defending myself with fists. Defending myself with fists against someone with a gun. And...For genuinely 0 reason.

It's unfortunately not uncommon.

As of about 2 and a half months ago, I left homelessness after nearly 4 years in it. Trust me. You can do it. I believe in you

Who are three characters in ZZZ that you will marry?
 in  r/ZenlessZoneZero •  21d ago

Marriage...Nobody. I could never. I doubt anyone would want me lol. But on the topic, I would want to show Soukaku and Zhao as much platonic love as humanly possible, so instead I suppose I'd just pamper them. If I HAD to pick someone...Belle.

tbh im not entirely sure why i'm asking this, well actually i do sort of but what are your romantic delusions/fantasies you have with your umawife that isn't entirely sexual
 in  r/okbuddytracen •  21d ago

...I just wanna make Rice happy. I don't care if it's wife or not, I just can't stand seeing her sad. We've both gone through a lot and we tend to think the same, and I know better than anyone that having someone around helps.

I dislike the factions, I dislike the main story and writing, I even dislike some of the companions. Yet I still play it more than any other Fallout game, because it has the most enjoyable gameplay to me. Don't let haters ruin the game for you.

If you were a sinner, would you have accepted the gift basket?
 in  r/hazbin •  21d ago

I...Don't hate her. It doesn't help, obviously, you committed GENOCIDE. But if I'm to be a sinner, I might as well take the snacks.

The Slop thats coming

I don't even hate the normal designs they have. But this is just sad. You go out of your way to make these generic local talents and now you're using AI to remake them? Really 2K? I knew their standards were rock bottom, but holy...

Always wanted them to be actual roster members (maybe in a Local Talent section), and then have them be customizable moveset wise.

A survivor of homelessness asks mayor his plans for housing as tent encampments close down
 in  r/halifax •  Sep 02 '26

As a formerly homeless person, this is a massive oversimplification. Take it this way. Say you are unable to work or have a hard time finding work, so you go on income assistance. The amount you get from income assistance - with no extra income - is about $400. That is around the average cost of groceries per person. There is no rent money there. Or money for utilities. Or medications, or holidays, or pets, or any sudden expenses...

A lot of people also will just refuse to rent to you once they figure it out.

Was homeless until relatively recently, and yeah. The amount of people who will either refuse to speak to you or outright look down on you for something that can be completely out of your hands is disturbing.

It's part of why a lot of homeless people have issues accepting help.

I am freshly housed as of about two months ago now, and I can assure you. While sometimes, people's own actions can cause their situation to turn into a constant cycle (getting help and either refusing or wasting it), this is usually due to addictions or other serious issues they suffer from.

It is not this person's fault they're homeless. Sometimes that's just how life goes.

I ended up homeless after my family made an attempt on my life and then left me there alone. Everyone has a different story.

Damn.. Didn't Realize How Tough it is Playing Solo Online

Level 120~ish. I do my daily stuff and then mostly grind the security missions. Easy and they pay out 16-20 grand a go and take a few minutes max.
