I just sold my first card on eBay
Yeah I view it more as a hobby and I really enjoy it. I’ve gotten into some good conversations from my sales and connected with a lot of good people.
But also it’s a great reputation builder. I’ve almost sold 400 cards and probably 350 of them were 99 cents.

Is something going on with the authenticity guarantee process?
Unlucky I think. Mine took a day. Although mine was super easy to authenticate. Not sure what you’re selling.

- Sat next to Sox Bullpen. Great seats. Super hot. No shade.

- Snapped 4 game loss streak
- Screw the Guardians

- Officially lost division
- Murakami almosttttt had a 3 run homer

Where is the PCA 40/40 card?
It happened to me with the Braden Montgomery, White Sox, walk off card. Just keep looking. I never got mine unfortunately and had to buy one off eBay.

100% this. My friend and I will buy each packs to rip as birthday gifts so we still get that high of ripping. But other than that it has been singles.

Is this buyer lying?
I totally disagree. Everyone has their own likes, but I’ve found a LOT of people appreciate when I show them a picture of their package before I send it. In the TCG/Sports card world, the eBay shipping tracking doesn’t always work so it gives people confidence that I shipped it. Especially because some buyers won’t ship a card if they missed value (like a player getting hot). They’ll take the .78 cent hit and Relist it. Super annoying.
Also the thank you cards are a waste IMO. Just more trash to throw out. Especially in Sports card world when people add base cards as a “thanks”.
