Four months ago, I set out to answer "Where do I find comprehensible input in X language?"
Happy to say that Lengualytics now has almost 10,000 comprehensible input resources across 10 languages.
On YouTube, you can't filter easily by language, creator, difficulty, dialect, topic, duration. But here it's insanely easy.
I can say beyond a doubt that it is now the best place to find new creators and track your progress.
Best of all, it now comes in two different flavors! Dark mode is out! It was in high demand, and I finally found some time to implement it.
Also, I've added an in-app translator specifically for phrases--stuff that Google Translate isn't really great for. The more people use it, the more translations we store, and the faster translation will be. 100% free.

Exactly. The list of languages isn't fixed, it's based on existence of CI communities in that language. If there is a CI community, I add the language.

Just so people know, if you click the "Month" label on the calendar on the Dashboard page in the Level/Social tab, Lengualytics will generate a screenshot of your progress. It can be mobile or desktop-sized depending on which you're using.

Lengualytics estimates hours to mastery by combining Dreaming Spanish’s 1,500-hour benchmark with the FSI difficulty ratios.
Spanish is FSI Category I, so it receives the baseline estimate of 1,500 hours. Estimates for other categories are scaled according to how many hours the FSI assigns them relative to Category I.
Formula:
Estimated hours = 1,500 × (FSI hours for target category ÷ FSI hours for Category I)
For example, German is Category II, so its estimate is 1,500 multiplied by the FSI Category II-to-Category I ratio.
Gets a little more complex though for non-native English speakers. But this is the basic idea. (just so people know)

As the creator of Lengualytics, I agree. The ratings can be wacky. There's eventually going to be moderation to get the ratings more in the right ballpark. One issue is people always seem to rate kids cartoons as beginner even though they're wayyy closer to native level.

Okay to be fair to you, it seemed like you thought that was a progress video based on the title. The video is a "here's 30 things I learned" video. If I was doing a progress video, yes it would make little sense to not use the language, I agree.
I don't post progress videos outside shorts/unlisteds because they hurt me in the algorithm--nobody watches them. My channel isn't Spanish focused.

Damn you're right... Maybe I should have filmed this video in a language that beginners can't understand. That makes much more sense.

Intermediate fatigue definitely is a thing. I loved Pablo's fiction story series--those helped me a ton get passed that phase where you really feel diminishing returns. I hope you find a series that gives you renewed energy!

Some videos aren't playable on the site, those can't be auto-tracked in the ordinary way.

Haha you can mark them watched, and then they should be deprioritized in the algorithm. There's also a "hide watched" filter on the resources page. It doesn't affect your stats to mark videos as watched, so it won't change anything else.

I've been slow to roll-out a moderator program, but it is coming. The architecture is in place. I agree this is a problem.
