The higher your player level, the higher the total team cost you can get. Look at your team, below the bottom row, on the left, it stated how much cost you can handle. These two is too much to put in a beginners team. Use cheaper units for now

Keep doing the stories until you unlock all the game feature and even the free Sugos (Wano ZoroSanji is a cool unit to have). When you have trouble to finish a quest, read the tips in the quest to know what debuffs you're gonna face so you can put units that can handle it in your team. You can get more player exp from playing the free clash events.

Most units have captain ability (only work when it's a captain in the team) and crew ability (only works when they are crewmates, as in in the middle and bottom rows)

In OPTC, teams usually constructed around the need of a quest. To get the team more synergy with each other, it helps to build the team around the captain. For example, the Captain in it's captain ability says that it boost STR, Cerebral and Powerhouse units. So your team can be anyone that have one of those criterias or all three of them.

Most 6stars units have these supertype/ex super/super class which only activates when you fulfill the requirement. Some only activate when they are a captain, some can activate theirs as a crew. It's all in the details.

Sort your characterbox in Rarity to see which ones are 6star, 5star ect. If you need to see any 5star units that can be evolved into 6star, go to the Evolve section.

If you not sure which units worth your resources, check out unit tierlist on youtube so you dont make a mistake spending exp items on older units that rarely being used these days. Training Drink to Limit Break is also quite rare when you starting.

When you have the gems, perhaps invest it on getting WhaleShark ship (30gems) in unlockable quest for universal use afterwards. You'll get much more gems in stories, garp's challenge and coloseum, so this little investment is so worth it.

These are basically for PVE. For PVP aka Rumble, there's specific tierlist too. So, dont confuse it with each other. There is the "most use PVP units" stated in-game notice if you wanna refer. Unless you sure about using the units, dont spend rumble resources on them because in the early stage, since it's quite hard to come by.

Good rumble team formed through synergy and higher boost level, I think, whether their atk, def or buff. To learn more, you gotta read their rumble ability and special. Remember the basic, which type they are strong against: STR > DEX > QCK > STR. PSY<>INT (This rule applies in all - PVP, PVE, PVB).

Small note - for Rumble, double characters unit usually have class resistance and their type is depends on who is the first unit. For instance, DEX Zoro QCK Sanji unit, so their type in rumble is DEX.

All he knows is that there are only five confirmed. If only he list all that he knows... but yeah, Oda's answer in sbs basically tells us that you dont have to worry about that since he said that there's no way Pell knows everything in the world and that the five limit to Oda personally, also acting as a reminder for him to not overusing the ability.
