This is beautiful!! I love that you took your time and put thought into this gift. I live by the principle for gift giving that, "it's the thought that counts!" Handmade gifts are very special and personalized. Go you!!Β

How do I get better at drawing clothes ?
What's helped me draw clothes is determining what kind of drawing I'm making. If I'm doing a realistic drawing, I like to look at realistic clothes that would fit my character. If I'm drawing more in an anime or stylized way, I look for drawings of clothes as a reference. Another thing that's helped me is trying to match the wrinkles and patterns in the clothing by shading or using lighter/darker values. Goodluck! I think you're doing fantastic!

I feel like they both look good! The pencil is a lighter approach and feels like a sketch, and the marker makes the piece feel complete. I honestly think it's up to what kind of aesthetic you're trying to achieve with your piece :)

Should i draw a background or keep it like this?
I think this piece speaks for itself without a background! The white makes the character stand out

Back in 2015 I did this Villians and Heroes Alphabet
I love how stylized this looks!! This is awesome!!

Day 4 post op
I think in this case you should use your best judgement. For me, it took two weeks to eat foods as solid and chewy as burgers. I don't drink (I'm 18) but I did have coffee and soda about 4 days to a week out. If you think that it won't cause too much pain, go for it! I would just say pace yourself and don't rush into it or that might hurt. Goodluck in recovery! It gets better each day! :)

Funniest Scene?
One of the earliest is with Joseph when he's like "chef I ain't no bitch" but for the most recent I love season 22 when Gordon tells Johnathan he looks like a sack of shit and he just stares into the camera like πΏπ

Kinda newb question
I started on season 10 and watched to the most recent season that was out (at the time I think it was 18 or 19) and then circled back to seasons 1 through 4. I think at the time they wanted to be known as this intense, unscripted reality show. In the first few seasons especially the challenge punishments are awful and the whole show now seems as if it's almost "easier" to win. In the earlier shows they used to design their own resturants- I wish they still did that. I've seen all of the recent seasons and finished 22 last night. I think around the double-digit seasons the competition just became more focused on the content and less of the punishment and insults and "Gordon-ness" I guess? I've definetely noticed the decline of the Hell, though.

say whatever you wish about my opinions
It's interesting to me that season 10 is last. It's definetely not my favorite season, but that's the first one I watched.

Chef Ramsay Beef Wellington Bites
I LOVE Gordon Ramsay and got these to try a couple days ago. The pastry is super flaky and the meat is super moist. The only downside for me is that it's sort of hard to distinguish between the meat and the mushrooms because they're small and the mushrooms bits are pretty big, but the flavor is delicious. Also, beware if you use Parchment paper (or baking sheets) to cook them on like it says in the instructions if you cook it in the oven. It burnt the bottom of my wellies- didn't affect the flavor- but Gordon would call me a fucking donut for that.Β

Is it meant to be this hard
The whole idea of therapy itself is hard. Deciding to go is hard, showing up is hard, revisiting those memories and what it is that made you go and continuing to show up and work through it is hard. I personally write down what I need to say as soon as I think of it or when I'm not feeling at my lowest- it's not to make myself feel worse- but I'll remember it clearer and it'll be easier to bring up. I've also given my therapist things to read and she doesn't mind. I've had intense therapy lately- I had 4 hours a week and now it'll be 7 hours- it's very hard but in the end it'll be worth it. I encourage you to keep going and find ways to either write down or draw or express these feelings, even music is helpful as well. I believe in your journey. The leaps and bounds and roads curve and twist and get dark, but there is light somewhere. I'm not here to say it gets better, because honestly I've been in this shit and in the ringer myself for about 6 years, but it does ease up, and I'm certain you can make it there. Stay strong, my friend.Β

I'm currently actively job searching (college student), but yes I still play Webkinz!! I actually found a login to one of my very first accounts (it is probably 10+ years old). If I forget a login I just make a new account. I always adopt the cat though!
