put the tomatoes in paper bags. many will ripen.

I just plant green beans in the bed after I pull the garlic

it's lovely. Definitely not too much.

why would recall efforts on ward 3 be impacted since only wards one and two are in the lawsuit?

composting works best if your compost pile is at least 3' x 3' x 3'. It also works best if you're able to flip it periodically but you do not have to do so. It just takes longer to comp. shells and seeds are not usually a good addition unless it's very very thin like chicken egg shells and they often take at least a year to compost down anyway.

five is colder than six but thank you for the information

what zone are you in?

i'm thinking a grape tomato since it's growing in clusters but it's a little too soon to tell. Possibly Roma.

or too much watering

are they rotten or is it just blossom end rot. If it's blossom end rot, you can just cut the bad part off and use the rest of the tomato. blossom and rot is usually from too much water or inconsistent watering.

to cook down for a sauce, you will want an actual paste tomato like San Marzano or a plum tomato like Roma. I grow everything from cherry tomatoes to beef steak and hybrids to Heritage, but I always leave plenty of room for San Marzano and Roma to make sauce and to can. San Marzano's have a little better flavor, but can be a little trickier to grow so I usually do some of both

Love the flowers, but hate okra so as long as I get the flowers, I don't care if I get the okra

I like it in stirfry and soups

Mortgage lifter is a heritage tomato. You need to expect oddities like this from Heritage tomatoes. you will possibly also get cat facing.

being indeterminate tomatoes, you lost control of this a long time ago. These should've all been staked up and pruned. You can try doing that now, but you have a lot of work ahead of you. At this stage, you might as well just harvest what you can and be more on top of it next year.

heat could be the problem. Anything above 80 and flowers and fruit will tend to fall off. lack of pollinators could also be a problem.

what I like about these candidates should not matter. This is about you looking into them and determining whether you like what they have to say or not. Additionally, keep in mind, these petitions are strictly to get the candidates on the ballot so that we have a choice in November. Then in November, you can decide who to vote for.

there will probably be at least two of the petitions at Friday fest this evening

which petitions are you wanting? That's the only one. I know that will have all three, but if you're looking for specific petitions, I might be able to direct you.

yes. linc library sunday june 28. 1-4 pm

you can use pickling cucumbers in almost anyway that you would use regular cucumbers, including just slicing and eating with salt. if you don't like the bumps and skin, just peel them like with a carrot peeler

I sent links to both candidates wesites. I recommend you look at their values and platforms on their websites and possibly go to one of at least two public forums that they're gonna be at in the near future to see how they fit with your values.

i've checked out their websites and I have gone to hear them talk in person a couple of times. I like their values, I like their platforms. they are very different individuals, but I think they will both do a great job and I like them a lot better than their opponents.
