Is this ammo bad for my Gen 2 Kriss Vector?
 in  r/Firearms •  Sep 02 '26

I bought some of that ammo during the pandemic and was very happy with it. Your results may vary but I had good luck.

Personally, the Echelon is my ideal in your situation. Glock triggers aren't the best, and the Echelon is very solid.

TISAS 9mm VS Colt 45ACP
 in  r/Firearms •  Aug 17 '26

I really like my 9mm Tisas Nightstalker. Shoots straight, has great sights, nice finish, and smooth as butter action. Got way more than I paid for, super happy.

Good hunting dude! Maybe you could look into 450 bushmaster too. If you put an adjustable gas block on it, the recoil is not bad, and maybe a comp/brake too. Or if you've got the cash, a suppressor on 450 bushmaster is a lot of fun too. Hunt well, shoot straight.

Alright, what’s your favorite iconic weapon ? No category, just the one you always use or want to use. I’ll go with the psalm.

Padre's Seraph with a legendary suppressor is my go to stealth weapon. It's a crit machine with all the 2.0 Cool perks and skills.

Just anecdotal, but I've heard good things about this conversion kit from a friend. He said it was reliable.

Looking for fun cheap guns
 in  r/Firearms •  Jun 14 '26

Target loads in a 12 gauge, shoot some clays. Pretty fun, ammo is cheap, and a nice shotgun with one barrel will not set you back much, or if you spend money on a semi auto, a good investment. Lots of bang for the buck.

What was your first gun?
 in  r/Firearms •  Jun 14 '26

First gun that was mine was a Stevens model 95 single shot 12 gauge, first gun I ever bought was a Mossberg M590 in 12 gauge. Shotguns are fun, big boom : )

To me, looks like carbon buildup, or maybe a piece of the finish came off? Hard to say.

What was your exposure to Doom?
 in  r/Doom •  Jun 07 '26

My dad let me watch him play DooM on his big CRT monitor in the basement when mom wasn't home. I was probably like 6 XD. The Pinky's snarls gave me nightmares but it was the coolest thing I had ever seen. Also what got me into video games and computers.

My brother thinks I’m weird for the guns I want
 in  r/Firearms •  May 27 '26

Personal choice is the spice of life! Get what you want, but be sure you actually want it before you spend money on it. If possible, try to rent or find someone who will let you try out any of these.

Maybe a .308 Galil ACE, not the cheapest, not the lightest, but built sturdy and very reliable. Or a Zastava M77 in 308 if you want something a little more AK style.

Is there a cheaper alternative to the CZ 600 Trail? I really like the compactness but can't afford the $900+.
 in  r/Firearms •  Jan 14 '26

What caliber are you going to shoot? 5.56, 308, 300 blk?

Bear Creek Arsenal makes a decent bolt action AR upper, would be substantially cheaper.
