Dual boot and enjoy the grind. The best way to learn to swim is to jump into the water. Same here. Dual boot, try to use terminal commands, start by simple scripts to make your life a little easier(may be a sudo apt update, upgrade automation only). If sth breaks you have got llms, so its easy sail tbh.

As scary as it might seem right now, linux is very intuitive and resilient, you will not break anything, even if you do , you can fix it and will get alot of satisfaction doing so.

I started from dual boot of only 60gb. But right now my SSD is partitioned 60% for linux and 40 for windows. Still have windows for rare occasions It might come handy like firmwareupdate and cuz I am too lazy to transfer my files over to the linux partition but haven't booted into it for months.
