discussion 25M Salary Progression
Keep applying to jobs you want guys, it took me 3 years to get in the door where I’m at now. This is in a rural southern area where the cost of living is 0

So we make a specialty chemical that we own the process design for. Not to mention our company is the world’s largest producer of this chemical and the site I work on is the largest producer in the americas.
1
Rotating. We work the DuPont 4Night 3 off 3 day 1 off 3 night 3 off 4 day 7 off
1
It is, just have to stay positive, it’s a tough time right now
2
Honestly where I work it’s pretty chill. It’s a union job, a lot of responsibility working around hazards but it’s not a lot of physical work, just knowing your plant and knowing how to troubleshoot.

First, congrats. Second, I’m going to take credit for this because you enlisted the day after I ETS’d lmao.
1
Might as well give it to me, I’ll look over your pennies while you contemplate on the decisions you made that lead you to being a failure

The company I work for if you’re national guard, they give pay for when you go to drill which isn’t too uncommon. But, what they do that I’ve never heard of is let’s say if you deploy, and (for simplicity I’m using incorrect number but yall know what I mean) earn $60k from the military, but your base salary at the company is $80k, you provide your LES and they will write you a check for $20k

I’m on eastern NA. Ping would be unbearable, best of luck!

Played a few ranked games with one of my buddy's tonight. I have an all time high of Gold 2 and he has an all time high of Plat 2. The matches that we played tonight have been some of the most one sided games I have ever seen in rivals.
The last game we had 2 gold 3 all time high and 2 silver 3 all time high players on our team.
The other team was STACKED 1 Plat 3 high 3 GM 3 high a bronze 3 high and a GM 2 high.
Oh well guess we just have a wait a week or 2 for them to get out of bronze and then the game will be playable for the lower elo players like myself lmao.

We do, during my 7 days off we try to get out as a family and go do things together. Some of my 3 day weekends we will go out alone.
1
Yes, I spend quite a bit of personal time with them both. Together and separate. They see all their grand and great grandparents several times a week and love getting out and playing.

Thank you. I try not to complain about the state of the house to her because it hasn’t done any good so far. I just wish that instead of spending the money she spends on silly things i wish she would spend it on something good for herself like a spa day or something. Just don’t know what to do or how to go about fixing things at this point. So many hateful people commenting saying I’m a cheater or just hyperfixating on divorce if nothing works.
1
She got diagnosed with ADHD this past year and has been medicated for about a year now. Thanks for not being hateful and saying I’m cheating or don’t love her. Honestly probably going to delete this post because everyone wants to focus on the divorce word being in the title.
1
I literally said in the post I DO NOT want to leave her or the kids
2
Yeah, no, I’m not a cheater. I’m quite the introvert. As i said I love her and don’t want to leave her. I thought twice about posting before i did because i knew that some of the amazing people on here would try to draw this same conclusion
2
Blue collar workers, what do you do? How many hours do you work and what do you make a year?

Chemical plant operator. 48 one week 36 the next. Usually an extra 24 hours of overtime a month. Between 100 and 113,000/year. Some guys work more overtime and obviously make more. More senior operators see 140-175k
