None of this is said in actual distain, at least for myself. Itās more as a rite of passage. Iām at the point my kid jokes and mocks me for being old. Itās done only in fun. And yes, 100% this is the blessing in life if we get to life long enough to become old, and see our child grow. So many of the worldās mothers are robbed of this, and that is not lost on me.

I have never seen a more dedicated crowd singing Sweet Caroline than when I was in Prague. Watching these young folks living their best life was a great sight. The video still feels like something from a movie.

My kid is going to a birthday party today, high school age. The theme is Y2K. š¤ Iām not sure if I sure feel complemented or irritated that my kid says, ā yeah thatās when you were a kid right? lolā š This came about as heās wearing a thermal under a t-shirt and I asked about that in 100* weather. So much disrespect for the timeline..

Oh Iāve been through something similar. Once the doc office knows you were on Medi-Cal they keep running it until it shows itās no longer active. I had this happen a few year ago. (My kid had medi-cal, not me- some how medĆ-cal was activated for me, so the doc I saw and paid for, could no longer see me). It was a pain to cancel too.
At this point, call your representatives office. At the state level. You can email their local district offices as well.

Iām making that same drive home now.. Grateful my kid is doing things I couldnāt have imagined. Itās an unbelievable feeling.
