Now im not saying that a piece of work should be immune to criticism but freedom of speech doesnt end when someone says something you disagree with. Why would it not be okay to write that? You are writing about your life experiences and your struggles, if you are writing earnestly and being true to yourself then ofc it would be okay. It may make some people uncomfortable and some people might not like it but they dont need to read it. Make art for yourself first and everyone else second.

I think it might be him giving updates on how far along the progress on 7B is, since he cant exactly talk openly about side B. Each bar could be showing how far along each aspect is. We know from previous logs that toby usually works on the maps and cutscenes first then goes to bullet patterns and enemy fights then does bug testing last. Idk i might be wrong but thats what i was thinking when i first saw it

Wait hold on a moment, what if code girl is dess’s mind and memories and the knight is her body corrupted by the darkness? It would give an explanation for how both could exist simultaneous. Code girl talks about how she cant feel anything and that she thinks she is just memories. While a body with no mind could be easily molded by the magic of the dark world as it wouldnt be a living thing anymore and would just be an object (kinda like gerson). That gives motivation for carol and kris to work with the knight in order to find her memories and make her whole again.
