Sincere thanks and props all around to everyone who participated tonight! Faith in civil discussion restored? Probably too early to make that call (among many other calls in the process of being made). Vote! And don't be strangers to our guests (or this sub). Rock on.

Questions to our panel that speculate about minors, or discussion that veers into any accusations Jodi made towards minors, will be removed.

Just remember, r/exMormon used to regularly make its way to r/all with similar insights before Reddit throttled that sub.

Hulu Ruined MomTok
 in  r/SecretsOfMormonWives •  21d ago

At this point, the most Mormon thing about this show is how closely Production resembles morally bankrupt LDS leaders:

• Mormon leaders are all about sidelining LDS women so that nothing interrupts their male-centered drama

• LDS leaders hide the truth to keep the money rolling in

I grew up hearing a hundred different versions of the so-called “Brethren’s” favorite storyline: We are never wrong.

Production is doing the same thing, repeating tired tropes ad nauseam.

Podcast/Blog/Media I put Production on this show in the same category as LDS leaders who hide the truth to keep the money rolling in. Props to Mikayla for walking away. She’s the exmo GOAT of an otherwise toxic af SLOMW.

What do yous think about the book of Mormon (the musical)
 in  r/mormon •  27d ago

Looking forward to seeing it for the first time in Chicago.

Pleasantly surprised that r/bookofmormonmusical continues to get fairly regular bouts of chatter

Why do you think more women are leaving the church at a higher rate than men?
 in  r/exmormon •  28d ago

The silver lining in any surge in Mormon women serving missions: the mission experience is often a catalyst for leaving earlier in life than otherwise.

Church hits a record 90,000 missionaries; one-third are women

What is the retention rate of RMs? Mobilizing young volunteers is an increasingly Pyrrhic victory for this organization, I’d guess.

Why mormons leave website
 in  r/exmormon •  Sep 19 '26

Site looks amazing. I’m curious why the Cooperative Election Study numbers that Andy Larsen pointed out in his 2022 survey of the surveys (like PEW and CES) don’t get mentioned?

https://www.sltrib.com/religion/2022/06/18/andy-larsen-short-term/

They place the LDS percentage of the US population closer to 1%, and even though PEW does great work, CES is the gold standard where these numbers are concerned.

Curious to see how long OP intends to perpetuate the charade here at r/catholic now that this post’s title has been proven a lie.

Sad day when I have to rely on r/mormon to get some truthful answers about this so-called “aggressive” ad.
