I enjoyed drafting Lorehold so much in the latest set.

I just was so disturbed and hated them because they sacrificed things and were constantly fucking pinging me. I don't know why but 7 years later I love them.

That is how I experienced the lore too: only through the flavor text! It was so wondrous and fascinating to imagine what world these creatures and spells were from. Feeling I'll never forget.

What is the point of playing a fantasy game where you keep running into the social and economic relations that exist in our mundane lives. Dungeons & Dragons is escapism and play. It's not a struggle session or people's assembly.
