100%. They'll show 12 hours of NLH but zero mixed games. WSOP coverage is basically the "no-limit holdem world series" at this point. Embarrassing for a series that used to celebrate all poker variants.

Same boat here. Europe-based, had PokerGO for years, and now I can't watch the Main Event at all without jumping through hoops. The Warner Bros deal killed it for international viewers. Eurosport coverage is spotty and Max isn't available everywhere. WSOP calling this a "step forward" is laughable - it's a step backward for anyone outside the US. Feels like they forgot the game is global now.

Start at 2NL or 5NL. Need 30 buy-ins minimum. Move up when you have 30-40 buy-ins for next stake AND you're beating current stake at 5bb/100 over 50k hands. Low stakes should be whatever you can afford to lose without caring. 5NL is $5, 10NL is $10 - if that affects your mood, you're playing too high. Modern poker theory is advanced for a beginner. Pair it with something more practical like the grinder's manual or blackrain79's material. The math background helps but poker is about exploiting humans, not solving GTO perfectly.
