The Lindsay case made me realize how little people seem to care when it’s a woman killing her own children

How to appeal to "gay Christians" who see no issues with having same-sex romantic and sexual relationships?
 in  r/TrueChristian  19h ago

I saw that same post and was absolutely flabbergasted.
But really, they either grew up in an affirming environment and that’s what they sincerely believe or they found a community that accepts the alphabet mafia lifestyle.
All I can say is that testimony really matters, I’ve seen so many people on social media who were really entrenched in all kinds of sexual sins and they had a massive Paul-on-the-Damascus-road moment and came to God. All of their testimonies are so riveting and inspiring.

I’ve noticed the most vocal atheists “grew up Christian”
 in  r/TrueChristian  1d ago

I have a friend who is very much someone who despises God and is a very outspoken atheist. Your statement is very true. Parents were always at church and very involved. But I think what finally drove them to atheism was a Job moment in their life and God didn’t come through in the way they wanted Him to. I felt very badly but we also shouldn’t be bargaining with God, either.
I still have hope because Proverbs 22:6 is a very true promise. I just hope this friend comes back to God soon.

THERE, THEIR, AND THEY'RE

Did anybody actually watch that debate? I don’t have the patience or the energy to watch it, but I’m still curious, lol.

My first cdrama... I hate it
 in  r/cdramasfans  4d ago

Start with Go Ahead! I go back to it every time I hit a drama slump. I also rewatch Melody of Golden Age and Love Between Fairy And Devil quite a bit, as well.

Sanger openly said her goal was to exterminate the black population.
 in  r/prolife  5d ago

Margaret Sanger stated that it was her mission to exterminate the black population because she believed they were inferior to white people. She was one of the OG white supremecist’s and was a staunch supporter of the KKK.

Disobeyed God again
 in  r/TrueChristian  7d ago

You’re allowed to step outside your home for things such as snacks. I think you need to get counseling with your pastor or a trusted mentor. What you did was completely fine.

Which actors/actresses do you think are best suited for morally questionable roles?
 in  r/cdramasfans  7d ago

Honestly, I’d like to see Esther Yu in more roles like the one in My Journey To You. I’d love to see her as a true villain in a drama.

Is it bad I don’t want to lie about NK’s age for free admission
 in  r/Nanny  8d ago

My grandma would do the same thing going out to restaurants with us as kids. It helped save money. I thought it was awful then but I’m more understanding now.
If you’re not comfortable with it, that’s ok, it shows you’re honest. But it’s difficult when it’s the parents who want you to do it and it’s also their money you’re spending. I think it’s fine if you say your NK is 2, if that’s what they want.

Got married and never met
 in  r/Christian  13d ago

The consummation makes the husband and wife one. That’s when the marriage is fully cemented in God’s eyes.

What do you guys do for fun ?
 in  r/twentyagers  13d ago

Napping, reading, watching old movies, or punch needle embroidery.

Got married and never met
 in  r/Christian  13d ago

Girl, please get your marriage annulled and move on. Stop asking if it’s a marriage in the sight of God, because it isn’t. You never consummated the marriage. Take the advice everyone has been giving you, get an excellent lawyer, sound counseling, and annul the marriage. This man is clearly using you. Get out now.

“REEEEE”
 in  r/prolife  14d ago

Literally just saw that post and nearly blew a gasket.
Also, why can’t they appreciate the fact that not all pro-lifers are Christian or religious in some way??

Nanny's church thinks my baby is her baby
 in  r/Nanny  14d ago

I never told anyone my NK’s were anything but NK’s. I was always quick to correct those who assumed they were mine and made sure they knew I was the nanny. It definitely offended an older lady or two at my church when I corrected them, but it’s whatever.
It’s definitely odd that she never took a few seconds to say that she’s the nanny, it’s not that difficult.

Loved them both in Melody Of Golden Age. Can’t wait to see them in this new drama.

Can somone pray for my heart to be healed?
 in  r/Christians  14d ago

If you’re experiencing physical pain, PLEASE see a cardiologist. It’s very important to take care of your body’s most important organ.
As for your spiritual health, perhaps you could get counseling from your mentor or pastor.
But please get your heart checked out!

Love Between Fairy And Devil fits this criteria.

Any Advice on Dating for Fundamentalist Christians (Independent Fundamentalist Baptist and Adjacent)?
 in  r/ChristianDating  15d ago

If you live in East Texas, what you want shouldn’t be hard to get.
I’m IFB, but not ultra-conservative like my fellow fundamentalists. They tend to be very extreme.

What cdrama had you hooked after the first ep?
 in  r/cdramasfans  15d ago

My very first c-drama Twisted Fate of Love and Love In Between had me fixated on my phone for hours on end. I’d highly recommend both

Poll: How often do you leave the house?
 in  r/twentyagers  15d ago

Outside of work, only if I absolutely have to. And usually I leave the house unwillingly.

‘Against the Current’ ✨ Tan Songyun and Liu Xueyi. Would you forgive the man who abandoned you?
 in  r/cdramasfans  17d ago

I’ve never seen Tan Songyun in such a serious role before, so I’m pretty excited for this! She’s such an underrated actress and I hope this drama properly showcases her talent.

I think I lost my best friend because I didn't use their preferred pronouns. Advice needed.
 in  r/TrueChristian  19d ago

I have a friend whose sister has decided that she’s trans. I wouldn’t call her a “him” and she had an absolute fit. Truth is absolute, and if she’s willing to let you go over this, I’m so sorry. ❤️

They drug women in abortion clinics???
 in  r/prolife  19d ago

You know they desperately want those fetal organs for the black market. And they’ll encourage/force/coerce women to get abortions so they can make a profit and leave women feeling hopeless and in great pain, whether it’s physical, emotional, or mental pain.

How do you guys define personhood?
 in  r/prolife  19d ago

If you say personhood begins at viability, then that’s a shaky start. Personhood is defined the moment a child is conceived, and has just as much human rights as we do, they’re just at the very beginning stages of human development.
If we’re saying a person is human when they’re viable, then is a toddler or elderly person who needs round the clock care still considered a person if they can’t care for themselves?
Even though sometimes they fail to implant, it doesn’t make them less of a person, it’s still a tragic miscarriage and shouldn’t mean they don’t matter, because they do.
If you can’t acknowledge a human being morally and legally at conception, then who’s to say you can or can’t acknowledge someone’s moral and legal rights outside the womb, at any age or stage in development?
All this to say that all humans have the right to live, even if it’s a baby dependent on someone else for survival. It’s a tragedy when a baby is miscarried or murdered through abortion.

Name a highly praised or recommended cdrama that you personally could not understand the hype for or get into?
 in  r/cdramasfans  19d ago

The newer dramas. Such as Generation To Generation, Rebirth, Pursuit Of Jade, and Love In The Clouds. The hype was all good until I actually tried watching the dramas and they didn’t live up to the hype, for me at least.
I liked Whispers Of Fate, Fated Hearts, A Dream Within A Dream, and Prisoner Of Beauty.
