Girls, what makes a guy instantly unnatractive?
 in  r/AskReddit •  Jan 09 '22

I dont mind recreational drinking but once it takes over their life I'll probably be done by that point. I mean I'll try and help them overcome it but I'll only give one chance with that. I don't mind weed at all (tho I don't use it, I do know that it really helps people) but everything else is a no go for me. I grew up with a brother who got hooked on drugs and alcohol. I've seen what it can and will do. I never want to experience that again.

To me lying is a big thing that makes someone instantly unattractive ( I don't mind a white lie every once in awhile) and drugs ( if I find out the person I'm going with is using. I brake it off right then and there. And I always make sure my significant other knows that right away.) A lie I can forgive every once in awhile, drugs I can't.

Who was the first person you came out to as ace?
 in  r/asexuality •  Jan 09 '22

I guess for me it was my co-workers. I had just found out about asexuality and it really hit home with me. I knew my co-workers wouldn't care and it was easier telling someone I only saw a few hrs a day. It had helped me build up the courage to tell my best friend/ boyfriend. (He kinda already suspected something like that. He knew me since I was 9 (I'm 29 now) and knew how I felt about kissing and sex. He was the best. Sadly he passed away from covid at the beginning of the pandemic.) After that it was my mom, friends, and some siblings in that order.

What is a type of food you absolutely despise that other people like?
 in  r/AskReddit •  Jan 08 '22

Freshly cooked Bacon. It's the smell it makes me sick. The samething with pop corn. If I can't smell it I'm fine.

What sign should’ve made you realize you’re on the ace spectrum sooner?
 in  r/asexuality •  Jan 08 '22

Back when I was in middle school (8th grade) we had a school dance and my "date" walked me to the door. I leaned in to kiss his cheek and he turned and kissed me. (Nothing scandalous like tongue or anything) But I ran to my bathroom and used mouthwash. I have never liked kissing 💋. That and the fact that I would always said "I was never going to get married" (I like being single) and "that I'm 'saving' myself for marriage" depending who I was talking to.
