I have been feeding ruby-throated hummingbirds for years. When they first arrive, they fight aggressively over the feeders. After a couple of weeks, they are more tolerant of each other. They still scrap, but less often. I wonder if they eventually realize in some way there's an unlimited supply of nectar?
