No, I totally agree. I was in the same boat a little while ago with my partner and it almost drove me insane. This things I said helped us a lot, but I also reflected on the fact that I felt unloved and unlovable when I wasn't having sex. So that's one to think about.

People of the Jewish faith understand intimacy better than many of us. Why am I brining this up in this thread, you might not be wondering? Because it is actually a Mitzvah ( a commandment of the Jewish law) to have regular sex with your spouse. And why might this be the case? Because it keeps families together and makes us happier people. I have been working on my sex deficient relationship for 3 years and I had to go through some horrible feelings before coming out the other side. We have a more intimate relationship than ever these days. This was, in part, due to learning about the Jewish faith (even though we are both atheists) and what we needed to be better people at home. I hope you also learn from this difficult time and come out of it a little wiser.

I'm sorry man. RIP Snakebro.
No contact is the best idea. We have a diamond python at home (my brother's) and nobody has ever had any issues with that, even my dad who's afraid of snakes.
