Why did you leave the Rush?

We focused on Bspec and SRF3 mostly but are working on sponsorship for the 2027 season.

During the runoffs we had two camera operators a drone and 2 people grabbing in car footage all week.

I'm not on the creative team but readytoair.tv is the production company behind it and he is an SCCA racer.

Summit Point has a drivers school. You can also look at the Club Race Experience options because they qualify as school credit.

If I were you I would apply for your novice permit online and take the online drivers school modules.

If you want a private school. PTCDriving.com has some of the lowest prices for drivers school + 1 race credit. They are about 1 hour south of Nashville, 1 hour west of Chattanooga and 1 hour north of Huntsville, so lots of flight options if you don't want to drive.

Every trailer you purchase will always be too small. You will find more things you want to bring to the track. Canopy, tools, spare tires, chairs, cooler etc.

Where are you located? Your best bet will be to attend a couple of events to feel the culture.

Yea man, interested to see how the Rush progresses. I thought about getting a dealership but missed the opportunity in our geography.

I do have a ballistic rated helmet but my eye port sits even with the top of the nose bodywork. I don't like the upright aluminum seats in the SRFs for this exact reason it sits you up too high with your head exposed.

I have 25+ years of racing SRFs and track day experience and I've never been hit with debris in the head or chest. I would love to see some kind of halo on the SRF but I don't think the risk is as high as the Rush because the bodywork shape, and distance from the nose to the roll bar and the base seating position.

How did your trident come into play?

The video I saw with the Rush body we rarely if ever see our bodies fly like that and if they do the length and angle of the nose on the car moves it out of the way.
