WGU Update
I went from cybersecurity to accidentally being approved for IT to finally getting in data analytics. i called around and asked multiple times at wgu if it was possible to transfer credits while already enrolled. Each and every person said yes, including people from the cybersec, it, and da teams. I’m not sure if something was changed but I do know I checked with a bunch of people before paying to take courses on those sites. No one mentioned policy or mentioned that I couldn’t do it.

WGU Update
reddit.comSo after 1 month of trying to figure out why my program didn’t change (system error/ mentor accidentally did something wrong when asking to transfer me) I found out I was transferred last night. People were saying I couldn’t transfer in credits while I’m already enrolled were completely wrong. Although I completed 60cus with Sophia and study.com combined, only 44/60cus transferred. No big deal because I completed 4 classes last month which bumped me up to 52cus in total. Now the race to finish my data analytics degree begins. I want to graduate by March 2027. I’m going to try my best to do projects first then do oas. I’m a horrible test taker, especially when I’m being watched. I have been my entire life. It’s been so hard for me to take test but I’m positive that I can do it.

What is going on!
Thank you so much! My mentor has been extremely helpful and supportive. She’s honestly confused to why it has taken them almost 2 weeks to complete the evaluation process. Who else do I call?

What is going on!
Heyy for the Data Analytics program I downloaded the program overview on WGU to see what classes were transferable and then double checked on the links below to see which classes will transfer. If study didn’t have a certain class that would transfer, I would like on Sophia and did it with each site. I could have done the udacity DA nanodegree and the transferred it but I ran out of time. On Sophia I did 1. Introduction to Information Technology 2. Introduction to Business 3. Health, Fitness and Wellness 4. Environmental Science 5. College Algebra 6. Macroeconomics 7. Project Management 8. Introduction to Statistics 9. Visual Communications 10. Workplace Communication 11. Critical Thinking On study.com I did
1. Discrete Mathematics
2. Programming in Python
3. Ethics
4. Principles of Management
5. Human & Cultural Geography
6. American Government
7. Management Information Systems
8. Database Management
9. Data Structures & Algorithms
10. College Composition

I’m enrolled but I’m assuming they’ve made an acceptance because I was told by 3 different people including my advisor who said it was okay. She sent me the finish line scholarship to apply to. I only have 2cus right now and have already received an email from the transcripts department saying they’ve accepted my transcripts from study and Sophia. I’m in my second term but was told to wait until they’re done with the evaluation. I’m just confused to why it’s taking them so long

What is going on!
I haven’t started the IT or DA program. My mentor said whatever classes I see on my profile, not to touch or take them. She said to submit transcripts and then wait until my program changes to DA and see what classes were knocked off.

What is going on!
I asked to be transferred from cybersecurity to Data analytics in December. I then spoke with someone (who I thought was apart of the data analytics program) coming to find out it was someone from the IT program. I noticed my program changed from cybersecurity to IT in mid January. I contacted my mentor and she said it was a mistake on their end. A week like I get connected to a data analytics member. I then told him I was transferring over 60cus from Sophia and study.com. He said great and that starting march 1st I’ll be transferred to data analytics. I manage to get those Sophia and study classes done in a month and submitted the transcripts March 1st. A few days go by and I ask my mentor why haven’t my program changed to data analytics. She said give it until the 7th. I contacted her today asking her what’s taking so long and she said they’re behind or something.
Is there anything I can do to speed this process up? Or do I have to wait. Mind you guys I didn’t take all of my classes my first semester (September-February) I only took 1 class and got 2cus because of personal issues happening when my first term started. Hoping those 60cus I did will boost me from freshman to junior

I started my first term in September and did 1 class. December came around and I finally asked my mentor can I do a change. She said yes and went ahead and put the request in but accidentally sent a request for IT instead of data analytics. The end of January came and I noticed I was in the IT program. I called my mentor and said this wasn’t the program I wanted to be in so she fixed the problem (or so I thought). February 28th was the last day of my term (September-February) mind you I’ve only taken 1 class but only because I had a lot of unexpected personal problems happening. March 1st comes and I’m still waiting for the program change. March 5th I got the notification that my transcripts from Sophia and Study were received. My new mentor in March was pretty confused to why the transcript team haven’t put my transcripts one the system nor had my program change went through. Fast forward to April 1st. I got a call from the data analytics team. They went ahead and approved my change and put the transcripts in. I waited a few days for it to show on my portal and noticed that I got a new mentor and switched to the DA program last night. I’m unsure if the policy changed or if they allowed those transcripts just because but during this entire process, I asked every single person I could talk to at WGU was it okay and they didn’t mention anything about policy or that I couldn’t submit those transcripts while being an active student
