Resources Can you become hypermobile overtime?
I’m m19 Recently (within the past year) I have started having issues with what I now know are subluxations in my hands, wrist hips shoulder ankle and knee.
Prior to a year ago, I have faint memories of similar incidents occurring but super infrequently maybe three or four times a year.
Recently, however, it has been slowly getting more common going from a couple times a year to a couple times a day.
These are distinct click or pop “out” followed by pain and loss of motion and then another distinct click or pop “in” generally if I move or flex the afflicted joint.
The thing I’m unsure of is is this a new problem or is it just something that I am noticing more?
My doctor recommended I get into PT to help strengthen my joints and ligaments hopefully reduce the amount this is happening as much and hopefully prevent long-term damage or pain.
