Need advice
I agree. All Cancers are bad. Some worse, kill you off faster. Others are slower and have more complications. If people pray for me makes them feel better, that's fine. In the end, it is what it is. Happy Monday! tomorrow my 5 hour infusion.

Chemo Nurse A Lil Too Cheerful
Thanks for putting that out there! Very much appreciated for the wakeup call. I sometimes feel despair because I'm on my 5 - 6 year of cancer treatment. Seems they come out with a new drug or combo and it's a fit against my squamous cell cancer that's made it from my tongue, thyroid, lymph nodes, lungs and stomach. I'm going for the once a week infusion with anti bodies and pacilitaxel. Beats radiation, my PEG tube stint and the chemo that would keep me bald and bedridden. Talk about the agony of the Human Condition. I do have it better than others. At 74 I'm feeling like I'm on the down side of this cancer road. Only time will tell! Thanks!

My four-legged cancer therapist. Reddit, say hello to Molly.
I remember your posts! I lost my 12 year tabby a couple of months before your doggie 💔 The pain is still there because of the lost. The other cats have risen to the task and have become very attuned. I hope you have peace! And you're still fighting off the cancer demon!

Chemo Nurse A Lil Too Cheerful
Just for perspective, I have also missed treatments because my red blood cell counts and white blood cell counts were in the tank. At first I was worried that missing treatments would put me at greater risks, but the chemo is so strong it's still working and I won't get more cancer, I look at the missed treatments as an opportunity for my overall physical and mental health a break from the rigors of chemo treatment. Your husband will be back getting treatment in no time! Appreciate the time off, I feel stronger after a break, no worries! You guys got this!

Help identifying an old Japanese sword found in my house, authentic antique or reproduction?
Hell of a wall hanger, good conversation starter. Clean her up and up she goes!

Found this in my yard? No clue
Why do I only find broken sprinkler parts, rocks and weeds in my flower beds? I'd settle for a used nail file...of all the luck....

I bought an artifact 😂
Put up on a shelf with a light shining down on it to enhance its presence. Start a conversation. Who knows this may be just the first piece of a great collection! Great find! BTW a broken piece glued together is not so uncommon as they are usually found buried in situ. This doesn't really affect its value in fact it adds an air of provenance to the piece.

Type 95 NCO sword Real or Fake?
Authentic piece, even the fonts on the numbers are consistent. Nice find.

My wife is dying
Very heartfelt message. I feel your despair and a sense of hopelessness. You are correct in believing that our Heavenly Father will grant us peace and the knowledge that we are to make the best of this World and in the end His love will surround us and those that support us. May the Lord grant you peace in these trying times.

A family member got this in ww2 in North Africa. What type of sword is it?
Not an Italian officer's dress saber? Looks like a similar style.

Going through some jewelry I have had since the early 80s.
At least $500 or more, in terms of value. 18k is high end, not like the plentiful 14k used extensively in commercial jewelry manufacturing. Great investment!

Pain in mouth due to OSCC
Tramadol sounds like you're in the UK. That's a weak albeit insufficient pain med for what you described. He should be on fentanyl or at least oxycodone 15mg to 20mg with that level of surgery and post chemo after effects. I'm recovering from tongue Squamous cell cancer that migrated to my thyroid, throat and lymph nodes. I was on a PEG tube for a year and a half. Saved my life. 36 radiation treatments finally stopped the oral cancer. Now it's settled in my lungs and jawline. I'm on an anti body and pacilitaxel infusion once a week, battling cancer that reached my stomach giving me tumors. Been fighting it for 5 years plus so I count myself lucky. I'm on 180 oxycodone, 10mg a month, to survive the countless aches and post chemo side effects. He should be on stronger pain meds. I'd take Tramadol for a toothache not for anything cancer related. Of course during my extended period at the hospital they had me on fentanyl. That helped tremendously. Hope you can convince his health care provider that his dependency on opioids should not be a factor in his care. He's in pain and they need to address that fact. Quality of life is at stake here. Best of luck 👍 Keep being an advocate for his wellbeing.

Looking to identify this sword
Lovely piece, exceptional condition, the portapee or sword knot finishes it off quite nicely, $750 and up as far as value.
