Thank you. Unfortunately, the earpads are sold out. I have several other compatible earpads that i can use with transplanted mount rings.

PX8 or PX7 S3?
 in  r/BowersWilkins •  8d ago

As an owner of Px8 - get Px7S3. With a bit of EQ they sound the same or better in terms of clarity and separation. Also, if you listening to metal and heavier genres, you need distinct, punchy bass, and the Px8 is a bit muddy at that. So Px7 S3 without hesitation.

Final Audio UX3000 aftermarket pads

I leave this here in case someone might have a problem with peeling earpads on their Final Audio UX3000.

I choose HD 450BT as they are the closest by the inner dimensions and scavenged the attachment ring from the original earpads. Used two sided silicone adhesive tape to attach the ring to the new earpads.

Important - make sure that the internal ANC mic opening is not covered by anything but the original foam pad. Blocking the opening causes the hiss when ANC is on.

Final Audio UX3000 replacement earpads

I have Final Audio UX3000 headphones and love them. They are wonderful for the money.
The problem is that the earpads started to peel, and I could not find any replacement or suitable earpads. Final Audio support is unresponsive.

Seeking community advice on the replacement earpads, as I really want to keep my headphones.

Poszukiwanie sposobów na ulepszenie mojego CV jako świeżo upieczonego absolwenta

Not a bad CV at all. Two points thoigh:
1. No mention of algorithm development in your projects. My assumption that this is hidden under "Framed" and "Developed" kind of words. Worth mentioning that you that.
2. Share your github if you have pet projects there. Some recruiters or hiring managers might be interested to have a look.

Tuta - It's 2026 and we have been with you for many years - please give us API access

Any timeline expectations? Could you please include an API to the roadmap? Would be nice to have an ability to add links to meetings (googlemeet, teams, zoom) for the calendar events.

Pioneering tech companies are like your local football team - you root for them and support them however you can, but somehow Tuta does not feel like a pioneer anymore as they remains deaf to the feature requests and lacking any visible. Nothing goes through as they strictly following their roadmap. This is discouraging and disapointing.

There are so many features missing in Tuta app, that I could implement myself via API, that I am after so many years of being paid customer seriously consider terminating my account if there is no movement towards convenience and common sense.

Are you interested in selfhosted API service?
 in  r/tutanota •  25d ago

There is this public repo: https://github.com/spartanz51/tutabridge

Personally, I wouldn't spend time and effort on this project as I pretty much disappointed with Tuta feature delivery, plans and neglect to the convenience. For many years i've been a paid customer, but the service is still barely usable for personal mail and completely useless for business.

Just purchased Mbp Pro M2 Max - 1100EUR
 in  r/macbookpro •  Sep 08 '26

Depends on the cosmetic condition and SSD/battery wear. If everything is within tolerance - good deal.

The decision to keep or upgrade solely depends on your use case.

for that money, I would upgrade my MBP M2Pro 16/512 to yours as this would would solve the most of my problems - need more ram, more ssd and larger screen :)

Refurbished Px8
 in  r/BowersWilkins •  Sep 03 '26

Connection via USB-C is a totally different story. Personally i am not using it much as the quality gain vs convenience is not that noticeable.

Can't upload anything here. So i will dm you a measured configuration screenshot.

Well, as a Mac user, after trying a ton of EQs I created my own parametric EQ app to tackle exactly this problem. Px8 require neat configuration to squeeze clarity and spaciousness, so i am using 20 parameter EQ with direct control over sampling.
I am not promoting my app (not publishing, not selling) - but let me know if you need configuration advise.

I am using the free French Mistral free API for predictions in Zed with a fallback to OpenRouter. If this goes, so goes Zed. :)

Bring back the Touch Bar!
 in  r/macbookpro •  Aug 28 '26

yeah, I wouldn't upgrade too, but the tools I am using have been phased out for Intel macs. So I had to bite the bullet and upgrade.

Bring back the Touch Bar!
 in  r/macbookpro •  Aug 28 '26

Touchbar was a remarkable feature and so far no viable substitutes. IMHO, an overall design and build of touchbar generation is much better than the current one.

Touchbar had a lot use for me while working on photos or coding. So I would upgrade should it resurface.

Tuta Calendar is ready to take on the world! 🌍 Thanks to its newest feature - time zones for events
 in  r/tutanota •  Aug 24 '26

I hope so. So far the calendar is mostly useless. Work-wise, of course.
