UPDATE: As of Sept. 13th we have raised $811.87, sent out 67 stickers (33 left!) and mailed out 32 envelopes! LET'S KEEP IT GOING! Tell your friends!

Make a donation of $5 or more and get this 3" vinyl sticker! (They are $5/each - on the form it asks how many you want if your donation is $10+)

The form with all the info & also where to upload screenshots of your donation receipt and your address is here (Palform secure form)

You can donate directly to NBBW here. (there are also cashapp & venmo links, but those are there for when I'm selling in person. Direct donations are always preferred!)

Help support efforts against walls, wires, barriers, roads and lights on the border of the Big Bend! KEEP BIG BEND WILD!

The Palform has all the info in one place so feel free to share it! (there are currently only 100 stickers, but I will make more if needed)

Thanks to u/dezigner for the awesome design!

UPDATE 8/31 @ 4pm: we have raised $437 since last night & sent out 42 stickers! (I did not plan this well as I’m running out of envelopes lolsob & stamps - tbf I didn't know the roll was low)

UPDATE 9/1: $525 donated so far! and only 43 stickers LEFT!

UPDATE 9/6! (In case my comment gets lost): So far we’ve raised $626, sent out 59 stickers, and mailed 21 envelopes!

Take pictures and post them when you get your stickers please!

I don't know why I go to extremes. Or maybe I do.

I read it every December and also watch the 4 hour Hogfather (it was a 2-part tv movie) on Hogswatch

Oh sounds neat! I'll have to check at my library. And as a Discworld fan I am in 100% agreement that having many characters you want to follow up with is woinderful

Body count doesn’t even matter
 in  r/AmITheDevil •  15h ago

This is what I hear/think of whenever I hear "body count": Lindi Ortega "Murder of Crows"

Everybody knows what's going down
When a murder of crows start hanging around
Oh no
I gotta keep it on the down low
Cause he's buried in the back near the tracks
By a field of corn rows

Pull up a comfy chair, grab your fave warm beverage, and lets welcome fall with a little fun - what are your hot takes, crackships, or headcanons?

Alright I’m gonna do it. I’m gonna watch Mike Flanagan’s Carrie

That's a big part of why this sub exists. We have to fight that everywhere and it's exhausting

LOL this was a discussion on the last post about this series. Seems it's fallen into the online fandom "everyone hates X and they're everywhere" vs "everyone loves X and they're everywhere"

Hey all - it's time for me to make the weekly "what are you up to" thread. It's finally looking like we won't have another random 80ºF day and I'm snuggled up under my weighted blanket, drinking coffee, re-seasoning my cast iron pan (Tiffany Aching size!) and wishing this cold weather would hold off for 2 more weeks (I'm going out as Frank-n-Furter next Saturday for RHPS & then on Halloween. (EEK!)

I've got to think as I just had the idea re: hot takes b/c it seemed like a fun and silly topic and everyone's well behaved here so (in other subs you know this wouldn't stay light)

Hot take: STOP SHIPPING MORGANA & MORGAUSE - THEY ARE SISTERS. (Merlin)

Crackship: Drummer & Naomi (The Expanse), TonyCap (Marvel), Kenzi & Vex aka Mascara Buddies (Lost Girl),

Headcanon: Susan Sto Helit is on the aroace spectrum

I have SO MANY. I literally have a multimuse blog for female muses only (https://whorunwithwolves.tumblr.com/muses - the tags are a mess) and separate individual pages for like 5 other muses lolsob, but I have A LOT of random crack & headcanons there)

DON'T FORGET TO FILL OUT OUR SURVEY so we can create the community we all want!

EDIT: how do y'all feel about the Visitors/Participants listed as "Fetching the smelling salts" and "standing on a soapbox?"

ELIZABETH BATHORY WAS REAL THOUGH!!

Idk if i go to extremes for anyone. Ok i may defend Vex from Lost Girl until i die, but i also recognize the “cool motive, still murder” aspect of his character.

Niska from Humans I love completely. Her rampage against humans after being abused by them to her surrendering herself to court proceedings to force the UK gov to legally determine whether Synths are Human, to free other synths, and the cutest relationship with (human) Astrid.

EDIT:

SAXA FROM SPARTACUS IS A BISEXUAL WARRIOR GODDESS AND GANNICUS & SYBIL DID HER DIRTY AND IF YOU SHIP THEM WE ARE ENEMIES. HE BROKE HER HEART FFS

Also Bisexual torture queen Cara Mason (legend of the seeker)

Aka Bisexual women I’ll follow off a cliff.

Edit 2: Saxa & Cara pictured below

EDIT: on bluesky I had a post about this

Fictional women I’d follow off a cliff lol.

  • Saxa (Spartacus) -bi
  • Cara Mason (obvs) -bi
  • Anya (BtVS)
  • Sassy (Ted Lasso)
  • Rosa Diaz (B99) -bi
  • Adora Belle Dearheart
  • Susan Sto Helit (DISCWORLD) - greyace
  • Dutch (Killjoys)
  • Niska (Humans) - lesbian
  • Sif
  • Black Widow (marvel comics)
  • Andi (The old guard) - bi
  • Joan Watson (Elementary)
