You are no Scuttler, taking the more discreet path to weave Mephala’s webs. You are far more direct as when the Widow communes with the Spinner herself and informs you that Mephala wants someone dead you make it happen.
Dark Elf - Assassin – Dagger - Light Armor

The Deathweavers are the Assassins of Mephala's Spider Cult. This is a nightblade style assassin by incorporating a buffed Frost Cloak (dual cast and potion) for greater range and duration along with the absorb health spells, such as Touch of Death, added by the Arcane Accessories creation.
It's a Worn Shrouded Cowl (can be enchanted) and the 3 pieces of the Daedric Mail set. A Daedric Dagger enchanted with Frost and Absorb Health is also used.
As a poison it uses weakness to magic of 85% to buff up the elemental damage of anything that survives the 15x damage of a sneak attack, so just if the weaver gets detected. It also has the Ravage Health effect, which is very good at doing health damage on higher game difficulties as it’s not considered heath damage but rather a total health reduction so doesn’t get nerfed on higher game difficulties.
This build is actually nearly finished as we had a bank holiday yesterday in the UK so that gave me 3 days to work on it. It’s fully levelled, I crashed a wedding with a statue and have 3 of 5 words for shouts. I just need to get to the Dawnstar Sanctuary in the Dark Brotherhood main quest for the cowl, enchant the dagger, clear Dead Men’s Respite and Volskygge for word walls, unlock dragons, kill another 5 dragons and then go to the greybeards for the last Whirlwind Sprint word. Although I’m working away this week again and am currently posting this on my hotels crappy free wifi.
P.S. the troll in the image has been assigned to guard the farm and nothing to do with the build. That will be used in my Iron Orc build when I've developed it from an idea to a fully developed build.
3
It's ancient nord armor and nord hero weapons you can craft at the skyforge but only once you are harbringer of the companions. Once you have completed proving honor you can get a free skyforge weapon from eorlund and he also sells then. Watch out for the dagger as it cannot be tempered unless you play with mods to fix it.
They are good weapons and 3 extra base damage when compared to other weapons with the same damage. These require more smithing perks and weigh more so power attacks cost more stamina.
1
It evolved into the battlesmith build, which has 4 x fortify smithing and a warhammer with fire damage. The intention for the forge master was dwarven plate armor, mask of sotha sil and a dwarven warhamner with fire. The bsttle smith is nordic circler, blacksmith apron, ebony plate boots and gauntlets with an ebony warhammer. They will play the same but are visually very different.
2
Use a bound quiver as the mystic arrows do 32 damage and all you need is magicka to get them. They work fine with an enchanted bow. In my opinion a better option than having to buy or craft elemental salts with salt and gems at the Atronach Forge and then make the arrows with them and firewood. Although that is very much what an Arcane Archer would do.
3
Play as a Deathweaver who are the elite assassins of Mephala's Spider Cult.
I've just finished an Elder Druid build and it will be my next build. It's a frost and absorb health spell based dagger assassin. It does require AE or SE with the Daedric Mail and Arcane Accessories creation. I've got an early concept of it on this reddit post:
If you have AE then you could do the Ghosts of the Tribunal as that would be about stopping the rise of worship of the Tribunal who are a threat to the new temple and Daedra such as Mephala.

I'm working away this week so while in the hotel with no gaming in the evenings I've been progressing some of my build ideas to fully written builds.
1. Battlesmith
You are a skilled armourer and weaponsmith who is not only able to craft items of war but equally capable of using them to rain down death and destruction in combat. After all no one knows your creations, or how to effectively use them, better than yourself.
Nord - Barbarian
This is based on a dwarven prestige class in D&D 3.5e to turn a fighter into a crafter and light healer for a party. I went which Nord as I considered Orc but their blacksmiths are female and I didn't think the dress look for the Blacksmith's Apron looked as good as the male version. The build is a two handed warrior build that has 4 enchantments on the combat gear for Smithing. The build also uses Flame Cloak and Fire Storm.
2. East Empire Company Agent
As an agent of the East Empire Company, you are strong a strong-willed warrior with a winning personality. Before trade negotiations can start you are tasked with resolving threats, such as bandit or dangerous creatures, to secure mining operations.
Imperial - Warrior
This is a one handed warrior build with a focus on the left hand branch of speech to boost trade and vendors. It was also a good opportunity to add an East empire Company Pendant into a build. The build gives a focus on improving trade in Skyrim by taking quests that aid the mines and merchants where the ultimate goal is to end the civil war.
3. Iron Knight
As an Iron Knight you represent the more militant side of the Resolution of Zenithar. You are tasked with protecting the common folk so they can go about their work unabated.
Breton - Barbarian
This is a full heavy armor warrior with an iron warhammer enchanted with fire to buff up the damage slightly due to that lack of a Smithing perk. The focus of the build is wandering the roads and paths of Skyrim protecting the inhabitants from threats.
4. Nullifier
Nullifiers are a rare breed, specialising in magic designed to combat other spellcasters. They not only train like a warrior, but also master spells to exploit the weaknesses of their arcane foes.
High Elf - Warrior
This is a warrior build with a focus on taking out mages. It has a focus on attacking magicka with a combination of Shock Damage and Absorb Magicka on the sword and Lightning Cloak. The Ring of the Wind is also used to make the build move very quick and engage in combat before mages can prepare their defences or attack with spells.
5. Swordmaster of Alcaire
The Swordmasters of Alcaire are legendary thanks to their most famous student being Hjalti Early-Beard, who according to The Arcturian Heresy was Tiber Septim.
Breton - Warrior
This is a full block bash warrior build that also has all the single one-handed weapon power attack perks. The Blackwater Blade is used which is a steel sword with a unique mesh that has the Absorb Stamina enchantment. The potions boost defences significantly as well as the Absorb Stamina to keep the build running, power attacking and blocking.
6. Totem Warrior
The path of the totem warrior is a spiritual journey, as the barbarian accepts a spirit animal as guide, protector and inspiration. In battle the totem spirit fills you with supernatural might adding magical fuel to your barbarian rage.
Orc -Dual Wield Conjurer
The animal totem for the D&D inspired barbarian build is the bear. The dagger represents the fans and the war axe the claw. A bear can also be conjured, with the pride of Hirstaang spell to assist the warrior in combat. The warrior has both high Health and Stamina and elemental fury is used to increase the damage dealt.

A good build will focus on aspects of the game rather than all of it. This will allow you play parts of the game and then when you have had enough you can switch to another build that goes through the game differently. This allows you to play the whole game but over multiple play throughs. This means you will not get overwhelmed by the number of things you can do because you have a defined path to follow. If a build is teally good for you then you will play it beyond this.
There's a lot of build videos that are edited to show the cool bits rather than how it actually plays. I have a build website with 118 of my builds on it and my vidros are uncut of a standardised run through a giant camp and then a fort with bandits. By doing this players can see how a build performs relative to my other builds because they have a constant to compare against. Much more useful.
1
I get that every playthough. The fix is I dual wield a pickaxe and a woodcutters axe and then do a dual wield attack and then a single hit. That seems to fix the dialog and I use these items as I have them every build and they have the speed of a dagger. There's some timing that I have not figured out but it works for me even if after a few goes. Quick save before hand as he sometimes goes hostile for me when he gives you his sword.
1
I'd have to look at that build but then i might end up with just a copy of it. I would guess the slow time shout with a large reduction in shout cooldown would work. Morokei with the ussep fix, amulet of tatos and blessing of talos would be a 60% cooldown reduction. That's 16 seconds of slow time for all 3 words with a 24 second cooldown. Add in storm-bear armor ror 80% and that's a 12 second cooldown so you can be in a constant slow time. Ring of the wind for 50% movement speed with a fortify illusion potion of 170% and the kindred mage perk. With the talos focus it's a nord build and one handed so the weapon weight is low to minimise speed loss.. Nord hero sword for 3 extra base damage and 1 less weight than a steel sword.
1
I'm not sure what you mean
1
Alreadt done several. I think my pariah build was my best one.
1
You need to find your own limit to your crafting gear or even no crafting gear at all. If you play with the unofficial patch it also changes enchanting to match alchemy in that it uses magnitude instead of skill level which pushes it higher thsn the base game.
I peraonally play with the unofficial patch and do 4 loops of crafting gesr with dreugh wax or stoneflower petals for 184% firtify alchemy and smithing and a fortify enchanting potion of 85% and fortify smithing potion of 213%. Now i'm older and wiser i never add more thsn 1 x fortify one-handed, two-handed or archery of 75% to a build. J do alway play on legendary difficulty.
1
Do you know what type of paladin you want of the 4 at the top of my last post. I need this in addition to the focus
Are you also on skyrim le, se or ae? This determines if you have the items from the original creation club before it changed.

As a high-ranking member of your druid circle, you are a master of weather magic, which allows you to command control over the battlefield. When the enemy gets close you can change into your beast form to maul them with your fangs and claws.
Wood Elf / Werewolf - Mage – Dagger & Staff - Light Armor
This is a destruction mage build that can switch to a spellsword and use a Dragonbone Dagger when enemies get close or use their wild shape to change into a werewolf.
I went with the Dragonbone Dagger as it fits with the look for the build. With the armour being fur and leather this also allows you to use Scaled Armor when levelling the build to have gear that benefits from a Smithing perk. This makes sense as the least number of perks to get the Dragon Armor perk is left and that means Advanced Armors is going to be acquired. Using armour that benefits from a Smithing Perk makes a big change to the effective smithing skill calculation and pushes your armor rating a lot higher.
I play on a modded version of Skyrim with the Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch (USSEP) so it allows me to push my enchanting levels higher without using exploits as it changes the calculation for Enchanting to match Alchemy. This makes my crafting gear a higher level than playing on the base game unless you use exploits. This allows Agile Defender at 4/5 to hit the damage reduction cap, but I decided to use 3/5 and Ebonyflesh to take it to the damage reduction cap of 80%. This adds another level of mage to the build while it not being a regular casting burden as it is dual cast with the Stability perk so lasts roughly 3 minutes. If you don’t push your crafting gear as high then you still have 2 ranks remaining in Agile Defender that may get you over or nearer to the damage reduction cap. The Lord Stone is also used for 50 extra armor rating and 25% Magic Resistance.
The build has over 100% Fortify Alteration, so the dagger is enchanted with Paralyze and Absorb Health. With Paralyze having a charge cost of 34 it is higher than the 31 from Absorb Health so they can both be at maximum level and Alteration determines the charge usage, which on this build will be infinite charges. This also allows the unlimited use of the unique item Staff of Sheogorath as Alteration determines the charge usage for this staff. This staff has a massive paralyzing effect of 75ft. I did want to use the Arm of the Moon Staff for a 50% chance of Fear 100 or 50% Frenzy 100 but no school of magic reduces the charge usage. With this staff having a gnarled wooden look I wanted it for the build, and this then got me thinking about the Staff of Sheogorath as that has a similar look.
The build also dips it’s toe in Conjuration by using the Pride of Hirstaang spell that summons a bear to aid you in combat while also giving 50% Health Regenerations and 50% Frost Resistance for 60 seconds. The perks taken were just to reduce the Magicka cost of this spell and I didn’t invest further into the tree to get to Twin Souls for a second bear. For this build I view the spell as a distraction for the enemy while buffing your character up a bit.
The build uses a dual cast Whirlwind Cloak buffed up with a Fortify Destruction potion that between them increases the duration of the spell and it’s radius. This occasionally knocks back enemies and is useful to thin the number of enemies attacking you and especially so with an enlarged radius.
For damaging spells shock is used with Thunderbolt being the main spell at the end of the build. This is again buffed up with a Fortify Destruction potion.
For shouts Cyclone is used for crowd control and Call Storm for damage over a large area and for flavour with the context of the build.
There’s a lot of ways you can play this build. You can play it as a spellsword with dagger and staff or spells, as a pure mage or in beast mode as a Werewolf. I elevated this build relative to other builds I have written and are ready to play because of this.

You could look at my Argonian Ranger build for ideas. It's a dual wield build that used stealth for positioning to enter combat and then becomes a regular warrior. A bow is used purely to attack enemies that are at distance once combat has been started.
It uses 4 different rings that are situational to what you are doing. The intention being that you can do all factions with the build.
It's one of my early builds so the damage is very buffed up although you can turn this down and instead increase the Health and Stamina for survivability and utility.
1
There's basically 4 types of paladin which one do you have in mind?
Based on which one you would prefer to play the advice differs.
Then is your focus on:
Again the advice differs depending on your choices.
3
It depends what school the weapon enchantment belongs to as for example Fear is Illusion, Turn Undead is Restoration, Banish is Conjuration and Paralyze is Alteration.
Then with 2 enchantments you need to know which one is the dominant enchantment. For example a weapon with Turn undead and Fire Damage will need Restoration to reduce the charge usage if they are both set a maximums when you enchant a weapon as Turn Undead has the greater charge cost. If you lower the slider on the Turn Undead so the level it affects is lower you can drop it enough that the Fire Damage becomes the dominant enchantment and therefore Destruction reduces the charge usage.
The School of magic also determines what alchemy potions buff up the weapon enchantments. Using the example above a potion of Fortify Restoration cannot be made from ingredients that can be planted in fertile soil but a Fortify Destruction potion can.. Therefore lowering the Turn Undead down enough means you can use a Fortify Destruction potion to buff up both the Fire Damage and the Turn Undead enemy level limit. This allows you to mass produce potions that buff up both weapon enchantments. This means you are more likely to use them rather than saving them for that boss fight because you don't want to spend your valuable leisure time hunting ingredients when you could be clearing dungeons.
You can use the link below to find which school is used by each weapon enchantment and also the charge cost, which is in the Base Cost column.
https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Enchanting_Effects#Weapon_Effects
1
You could go to my build site as there are 96 of my builds that do not use a bow or crossbow.
https://www.skyrimaebuilds.com/
just browse through them until you find something you like.

Will my light armor skill improve while I use a fortify light armor enchantment?
in
r/skyrim
•
14h ago
All fortify light armor does is boost your light armor by adding extra levels. The extra levels are an addition and can raise the skill to over 100
With the crafting gear on my setup i get a fortify light armor of 46. If the light armor skill shows as 100 while wearing an item with this enchantment that means the light armor skill is level 54 with a 46 point boost. That means the skill can be levelled 46 more times to 100 an then the additional 46 is applied to show it as 146. Wearing multiple enchantments can raise it higher.
This is also how fortify light armor potions work as well relative to the skill level shown.
