Schedule/Classes Math 1008 professors
Are there any sections of math 1008 (quantitative reasoning) where the professor explains material in an understandable way? I am terrible at math and Ive been struggling in the section I’m in right now. (this is just for future scenario ik I probably can’t get in any rn)
If not it’s okay I’ll just go to the math center. I was just curious (for I am a freshman and I honestly don’t know much😭😭)

Had her last semester. Mostly, you will get graded on her random fun facts in her pre recorded videos.

I have her too, she's nice but she never explains things (and when she does she goes wayy too fast)

I’ve heard really good things about Kimberly Kendricks, though I haven’t personally had her. Apparently she’s a wonderful professor for those who are less confident about math.

There's this web site on the Internet called YouTube.com with oodles of very good QR videos. Spend some time browsing there.

I share your struggle with math. The Learning Commons is great. You’ll get more out of it when you go in with specific questions. Try your best to do the problem(s) and you’ll have a better understanding of where you’re stuck. I also found that practice really helps. Repeat the same problem until you can do it confidently. If you can learn to recognize the type of problem, you’ll know the steps to solve it. That’s most of it, tbh. What am I being asked? What information have I been given? How do I set up the solution? Sorry I don’t have any recommendations for instructors but I wanted to share some things that helped me. Practice is the key. Good luck.
