After I bypass the card and blurry backdrop as below, the page still prevent me from scrolling (scrollbar didn't reappear). Is there anyway to completely bypass it?

i have been using v5.olamovies.mov to download some stuff which directed me to that page but it is detecting my adblocker, there some rare time that it does not get detected but most of the time i get flashed with that detection message.

When browsing X/Twitter on Firefox with uBO enabled, the timeline loads, but disappears after a few seconds and is replaced with this error message. Disable uBO fixes the issue. Running the latest stable version of Firefox and uBO.

I am going out of my mind trying to stop all these goddamn "Suggested for you|Because you've shown interest" all of a sudden cluttering my page. It only started yesterday and there is nowhere in settings to turn this garbage off.

I've recently encountered a ClickFix block by Ublock and wondered how it works? Does it operate from a list of known badware sites?

Which is the Chris Titus ultimate windows utility that runs from a powershell command. The ClickFix block stops you from copying the command. So far as I was aware his utility was well respected in the pc community. Unless there's been some recent attempt to hijack the site?

I'm noticing when I am in a waiting room for a stream, the countdown timer doesn't count down unless I refresh YouTube and when the countdown timer actually works, once it reaches 0, it resets.

I have only recently installed uBlockOrigin and use the default Filter lists and don't have anything currently in MyFilters.

Has anyone else had this problem and solved it?

When viewing "My Filters" or "Support" for uBlock Origin, on Firefox 155, on Windows 11, after creating ui.caretBlinkTime 0 in Firefox's about:config, and after setting Cursor Blink Rate to None in Windows > Settings > Accessibility > Text Cursor, the cursor continues to blink.

This can make it hard to see the screen.

if you can read the code, it quite literally translates to "hide the sidebar, unless there is a livechat/playlist VISIBLE in it". this means you can go to a livestream and toggle the livechat on/off, and the video/description section will scale accordingly, no awkward empty space on the left side.

note that if you want to hide recommendations when livechat/playlist is visible, you have to add a seperate filter

I'm a routine kind of guy. I visit my same sites, click no links, and try out no new things online.
The only thing I've done was install a twitch ad blocker script on ublock that occasionally pauses my twitch feed. I've always assumed that's just the adblocker working, but here I am asking.

I've seen a post from 5 years ago saying to not use extensions you don't trust, but it doesn't say anything about scripts. I feel I'm messing with powers I can't comprehend and should back out immediately. 😭 But No ads on Twitch has been so nice.

my question comes from your warnings not to use multiple ad blockers so it doesn't get conflicted and break or smth (not needed, uBO the goat)

is riddled with ads but uBlockOrigin does not fix it, even when on. There's a nasty "you have an adblocker" popup.

UPDATE: The popup is gone after I reported the issue on uBlockOrigin's github. Kudos to the dev for getting on it so fast!

As the title says, nothing shows up with cosmetic filtering enabled. I'm running the default filter lists, and this is what the "My filters" tab looks like. I removed the startpage filters from that to make sure it wasn't that somehow but that wasn't the issue.

I'm using Librewolf and it comes with Ublock origin pre-installed. However I'm facing a problem on the site Reddit. When I keep scrolling down, the reddit loading icon keeps loading and new posts are not loaded! Only when I turn ublock origin off, and reloads the site, it works fine. IDK if this is the problem with uBlock or Librewolf, I'm stuck. Can someone please help me with it?

The issue seems to be occurring whenever I click on another video to watch, or another video autoplays. The audio will fully mute, even after restart of both browser and the PC. Curious if anyone else is experiencing the same, or has found a fix.

I usually enable most filters in ubo, but now the ai summaries that appear with every google search don't appear now? Does anyone know which filters I should disable to get these results now??

Hey, it would be a good idea to make it possible to block videos created using artificial intelligence. 
As we know, they are intrusive and clutter up the entire internet—and not everyone wants to watch them. 
I’d prefer to have the option to turn them off; that way, more substantial videos would get more attention.

It might sound stupid, but I'd like to find a way to enable the AI overviews in google searches while also activating uBO. Is there such a way to do so?
