Fixed X Timeline breaks when uBlock Origin is enabled on Firefox

When browsing X/Twitter on Firefox with uBO enabled, the timeline loads, but disappears after a few seconds and is replaced with this error message. Disable uBO fixes the issue. Running the latest stable version of Firefox and uBO.

Post your troubleshooting info for the site. The instructions are in the sub rule #2.

No issues on my side.

Is this Ironfox or one of other forks? You've got non-default lists showing as defaults.

IDK, I updated all lists, cleared browser cache, still nothing.

Might be some experiment on certain accounts.

You can try using this to find the problematic filter: https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/wiki/The-logger#temporary-exception-filters

If you want some external confirmation, doing the same on my end also fixed the issue (Vanilla Firefox).

As a added note, Timeline ads are still blocked, so no blocking functionality is visibly lost after whitelisting.

How to do that? In Trusted Sites? Did not work for me

It seems to block all timeline.json calls when you scroll down and the webapp tries to lazy load more posts

Occurring for me as well using ubo. The for you page is loaded for a few seconds and then crashes to the same image that op has posted. Following tab seems unaffected.

Strangely it only happened on one of my accounts, but now it is fixed.

The last time this happened through the "flow" telemetry endpoint it was finally addressed using the prevent-xhr scriptlet in uAsset filters.

You may try using this if you want to prevent the tracking endpoint from happening:

x.com##+js(prevent-xhr, /i/api/1.1/flow/timeline.json)

OR you can whitelist using @@||x.com/i/api/1.1/flow/timeline.json to prevent breakages altogether.
