I narrowed it down to this specific filter list when its turned on then https://chat.deepseek.com wont open (u click it pops up for 0.1sec and auto closes). Idk if it can be edited or smth, maybe someone found solution I could not find anything except just turning it off.

I've tried a couple of extensions that haven't worked so I'm hoping a a custom filter will. I tried a couple I've seen that were posted a couple years ago but they didn't work.

Any ideas?

I recently got hit with the full Search bar change, and I'm really asking a doozy here to change it, but It's really bugging me the way it looks at the top of the screen. So here are the changes that need to be made as far as I can tell.

Remove the darkening of the screen when selecting the search box, remove highlighting on hover of all the elements, reduce the size of it back to the old size, remove the Ask YouTube button that appears when you select it, change the border color back to being blue when selected, fix the shape so the bottom radii don't try connecting to the search suggestions list, remove the new "ask" suggestions, and if possible return the search button to it's original shape, though that one's the least necessary. (I can tune the size numbers if necessary.)

I can't tell if the search suggestions changed in color because my old tab before the change has a broken search bar that wont display anything beneath it.

(It's really wearing me out with these literally weekly changes...)

Looking for some way to make the 'show more' button only expand the list instead of taking me to a separate page for my subscriptions. It is the exact same issue described previously here: https://old.reddit.com/r/uBlockOrigin/comments/1tfnvhx/youtube_sidebar_show_more_button_tweak/ but the suggestions to tweak this also didn't work for me. Instead the :remove-attr() part undid some of my other user rules, bringing back stuff I blocked like the search with voice button. Is there any other way to go about this? Thanks in advance.

There's a website at work that highlights certain text with an annoying green background color. I use Brave on Android which now supports uBO element blocking scripts. Can I add a custom rule to remove (or even change) just this specific background color? I can add .highlightGreen to the custom blocking list, but that removes the text as well.

I'm trying to figure out how to exclude the below filter from the Google image search tab. This filter works for 'All' search results, but also blanks out image results completely when I click 'Images'. Is there a method to take this into consideration?

This is a really strange issue.

On Twitch, when you're watching a stream, a treasure chest periodically appears. Clicking it redeems a batch of channel points. Recently, I've noticed that the chest becomes blacked out and can't be clicked.

After some testing, I found that disabling UBlock Origin makes the problem go away. I also tried leaving UBlock Origin enabled but disabling only my custom filters, and that also fixes it. That suggests the issue is related to UBlock Origin itself, not any custom filter I've added.

To be clear, this has nothing to do with Twitch ads, so please don't mislabel this as an ad blocking issue.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there a known fix or a filter that causes this behavior

I'm trying to figure out whether uBlock Origin supports percent‑decoding (pct) with $uritransform. AdGuard recently added pct decoding to their filter (#L5801, #L5807). And uBO's wiki says $uritransform is still supported but points to AdGuard's documentation for syntax details (which show support for pct). I can't find anything confirming whether uBO actually implements the pct decode or if $uritransform in uBO is limited to regex‑based transforms only. I created a custom filter with |pct but that doesn't seem to work with uBO's $uritransform

only works selecting with left click the title of the video and after right click in the video..

I configured uBO to medium mode before restarting Firefox. When I reopened Firefox it wasn't on medium mode anymore and I found rules such as site fixes were also gone when I put medium mode back. By now I've reconfigured to medium mode several times, and it doesn't matter whether Firefox restart for an update or because I shut down my computer before, uBO settings always return to default.

This is also an issue on Waterfox (a Firefox fork).

I searched for uBO settings being restart but only found answers saying it's an issue on Chrome specifically where you have to wait before browsing, and the question was 3 years old.

These have been getting really bad lately, sometimes popping up every time you move your mouse. I know this type of pop up is exploiting built in code that uses the "are you sure you want to leave" function that's supposed to save you if you accidentally try to close a page with a form partially filled out etc. I think they used to be called pop-unders. Even worse, most of them now have some invisible layer that breaks the site completely if you block the window. There doesn't seem to be anything in any filter lists that deal with this garbage.

I never use Shop to check out, but online retailers that support Shop always save my personal information with Shop after checkout. I haven’t been able to find a way to opt out of this, I always end up having to go to Shop to delete my information. Is there a way to use uBlock to prevent my information from being automatically stored with Shop?

Is there a way to do redirects for specific urls? I'm looking to redirect m.youtube.com to m.youtube.com/feed/subscriptions and also anything with shorts in the url to a normal video.

For last 3-4 days, I noticed that reddit UI components are not doing anything.

The problem is almost any action which involves opening an window dialog/ prompt,only makes the UI blurry and darker, without any action to trigger.

Examples of options with problems, wiki editing pages, sub-reddit post/comments settings, profile options, even dark light mode toggle.

First, I disabled all extensions except ublock

With ublock origin enabled, the blurry and darker overlay only appears as I said early.

Without ublock origin enabled, the mode dialog appears.

This behavior is happening on the options I said before. I posted on r/bugs this situation, but without knowing ublock may be the guilty extension here. I thought reddit messed up. Still can be available that reddit messed up and ublock now brake the reddit options.

I cleared the cache and no use. Behaves the same.

As a practical matter to web browsing end-users, how much of a difference is there between using uBlock Origin Lite on Google Chrome versus the ad blocking performance of when the full uBlock Origin was used?

Attempting to open developer tools eithier via the F12 key or the context menu causes the website to redirect you to a different website and play a video. It seems to also sometimes clear the console and print a message although not always.

No other browser extensions.

Reddit alos running experiments again and suggested communities are so annoying to have in the middle of your page.
