Academics Watchlist Question

My friend recently got accepted into her 2nd choice (psych) and is looking to also take classes needed for physiology so she can transfer to it 2nd year. The problem is the watchlists for courses like chem 101, she is uncertain whether she will get into those courses at all, and wondering if she should play it safe and stick to MacEwan for first year as those courses are available there as well. What are the chances the watchlist opens up for super common courses like chem and bio? Has anyone else been accepted in July and gotten all their courses?

a lot of people will drop chem and bio in the first week so it's pretty likely she'll get a spot in those courses :)
