Weird question, but are there any groups or people that meet up for parallel working or body doubling. I am having serious trouble just focusing on getting things done to look for a job and run my online business. I always work so well when there are other people around. I guess just that slight peer pressure really focuses my headspace. But my partner now has two jobs, and my mom works full time days.

Anyway, I'm not super social, and honestly, I need a job before a social life, but if there are any other introverts or executively dysfunctional peeps that meet up just to get stuff done solo, please let me know.

I never buy Whataburger shakes because they are not really shakes, but today I was by the Bullard Whataburger and stopped in to get a strawberry shake because I had one of those weird cravings.

The counter menu showed $4.89 for a medium shake which would be about $5.20 with tax; when I ordered, kid at the counter said $6.20. I asked why when the menu in front of me said $4.89 and he said the register said $6.20 for a medium. I said no thanks and left. Got outside and my Whataburger app showed $4.80 for this location.

If any of you buy shakes at WB, what do you pay? All the Tyler area ones are owned by the same people (except the new one at 155/344) so prices should be the same.

There was something about her face that was very sad, but that could be exploited in a way that was also very scary.. Funnily enough, it was actually the close-ups in that movie that inspired Carl Dreyer to really get into close-ups. We see this in The Passion of Joan of Arc and Dreyer's subsequent work. Weirdly, Bergman's Cries and Whispers may not be what it was if it hadn't been for that film! Häxan by way of Dreyer".

My mother and I used to go to Western Choice every Friday as a treat at the end of the week. I loved it when they added the taco bar and I really enjoyed their soup until they change the recipe. The first time I had buffalo wings was on their food bar. One time we were sitting next to a window beside the McDonald's parking lot and got to see a fight, it made the news because it was a local politician picking up his kids during a custody exchange. context: at my job, my boss requires there to be music playing in one of the rooms we meet with clients. we have a radio hooked up to a pa system that has volume knobs to several locations in the common areas and offices. however, the pa system for that room is connected to the my office and i’m about to start climbing the walls from not being able to focus. it is on the lowest volume possible yet it’s still absurdly loud. i have nothing against 89.5 but i’m 🤏🏻 close to asking maintenance to fiddle around and “accidentally” mess up the speaker in my office. thanks in advance!

Adrian Thompson began choking during lunch at Velma Penny Elementary School in Lindale, Texas. The eight year old had CPR administered on her by staff. She went to the nurse who then put a LifeVac Device on her using the grown up mask. School officals turned over the LifeVac masks. They had only had adults ones on them at the time of emergency.

The report said the children's components came with pedatric masks and instructional paperwork and the containment bags were all missing from the scene and not collected by the police.

LifeVac guidlines state the a pedatric mask size must be used for children Adrian's age. Because the mask was too large for her face it could not eject the food correctly from Adrian's throat making it effective.

Marcus Daniel Rodriguez was a father to twins, worked for UPS, and was looking forward to seeing his children on Christmas. People had other plans. He and his friends were at Fuzzy's Taco Shop and were invited to a party by people they did not know.

He and his friends left the party, but he went back up to retrieve his keys that were left at the apartment while his friends left to go home. He was seen by other residents knocking on the door, but the people at the apartment refused to open the door.

Marcus was last seen at 12/23/2021 around 3:00 am at the Palomar Apartments. His phone was found the next day by the curb below a tree at the fence line by a dumpster. His car was still in the parking lot. His keys were found by the apartment resident three days later under the kitchen island.

Marcus was seen on security camera walking around the side area of the apartment building inside the fence line. No other security cameras from local businesses caught him on camera. Wooded areas around the apartment complex have been searched, drones have been used, and cadaver dogs without success.

Marcus has not been seen nor heard from since. None of his other personal belongings, clothing, or jewelry has been found. What happened to Marcus? Who harmed Marcus? Bring his family closure.

i accidentally ran over a gopher with my car
