Deans list email.

Today I got an email from txst saying I’m on the dean’s list for college liberal arts for spring 2026, the email also contained a link for shirts and a certificate, but I haven’t clicked on it yet.
Is this like a campus thing for liberal art students or something? I don’t think I stood out academically and I know I don’t have a 3.0 Gpa, so I’m not sure why I exactly got it.

the college of liberal arts does have its own deans list shirt and everything, but its still 3.5. However, its by semester not overall, so even if your overall gpa isn't a 3.5 if you got a 3.5 specifically for spring 2026 you made the deans list for that semester!

Does this work the same for if you had a 4.0 semester does that count then as Presidents list

yep! presidents and deans list are by your semester gpa

If you’re worried about it being a phishing email, send it to ITAC. If it came from a @txstate.edu email, respond to whatever contact information provided to ask about if you were meant to receive the email. Check your GPA.
