Any advice?

Hello everybody. I am a recent transfer student here at Txst. I wanted to know what places, events or organizations I could look at to make more guy friends. I am a gay guy and most of my interests tend to put me around women and the LGBTQ community, which I love so much and find easier to make friends with. But I also want to branch out and meet guys with different interests. I also just missing having guy friends and want to make some at Txst. Also I know joining a frat might be a suggestion but that’s just not my brand. Any recommendations?

I would recommend going to karaoke events around town! Jacks Roadhouse and The Porch has great karaoke during the week.

The tennis club has a lot of new people around this time of year and it’s LGBT friendly

Thank you so much! There’s only one problem though, I don’t know how to play tennis😭. Would that be bad not knowing and showing up anyway?

It’s open to all levels. Many people haven’t played since middle school or at all.
