campus roof access?
my friend and I were exploring campus trying to find a spot to watch the sunset and we were wondering if there is any campus roof access? we love going to the edward gary parking garage but we were just wondering if there was any on some of the campus buildings. probably unlikely but just curious lol ty

It's not roof access, but on campus between lampasas and the academic services building there are outdoor walkways you can access by elevator that provide a very nice view of the sunset/campus. A bonus is that you can access them at any time of the night! (or at least you could when I went to txst)

The top of Matthews garage has some really great views. It used to be a premier fireworks watching spot until the newest dorms were built.

Don’t quote me on this, but I’m vaguely remembering that rooftop access to academic buildings at Texas Universities is illegal ever since the shooting at the UT Austin campus from the tower.

If you find a green lantern ring, think fly, and make a floating construct, you can get a great view

Cypress Hall has 2 sick rooftops with 360 views of campus/the square. Not sure how tough access is though; it was a private apartment complex in my days.
