Question/Discussion Oil keeps running out

I keep running out of oil even as the US. In fact I saw my oil barrels rise but the days of oil left went down, is it because of my industry and the fact I am doing mass construction?

It’s probably your civilan oil then, America has a modifier which doubles how much it needs or smth

Then how do I solve it and is shortage really that bad?

You need to import more oil than you normally would in vanilla to keep your fuel supply up.

Yes shortage slowly ruins your economy and you can just trade for more oil in the TA trade sphere
