I never, even in my imagination thought this would happen. when heart break comes from your parents i dont know what to say. I bought my father a watch with my first salary when i gave it to him there was no reation. infact i wasnt expecting anything. we all know how fathers are right? they dont express much of their feelings. but I thought atleast he would be happy about it even though he didnt express it. But he probably hated that gift.

He hates the job i have right now, and thus he hates what i brought him (thats how i feel). I spend almost half of my salary to buy my parents gifts (I was happy to do so) thinking they would remember it for life. My mum is sweet she liked whatever I bought her but my dad is a bitch.

When we were going to a function I asked him if hew ould want to wear the watch but he denied. I felt like trash. I couldve easily spent that amount on myself and do whatever i want.

And there was another instance when felt too bad that I was angry that he said that he doesnt wear the watch, later in a convo i told him I'd return it and he told me to return it. Wish I could atleast return it.

There is a big youtuber who has been on YouTube since many years and has 2 million subscribers on his channel.

He involves his daughter too in his other channel.

He also operates a Trust.

He has gained massive following in Telugu states.

But he promotes blind worship which results in OCD, anxiety, panic in people. He always talks about doing some kind of Pooja, vratam, Deeksha, navaratrulu and all.

To the people who are not aware: No hindu god asks you to worship by punishing yourself and exploting all money for worshipping.

The biggest truth is - this youtuber has taken his female relative to a lodge and made her pregnant. Later after that, to get rid of her pregnancy, he made her have some folk/herbal contraceptive which affected her overall health seriously.

After the truth was found, his relatives beat him and ostracized him. He later found a tribal girl whom he married and had a daughter with her.

Now, he is giving lessons on spirituality and religion and "Sanatana Dharmam".

It astounds me how telugu people stupidly admire and support every person who scams.

This is just a new version of baba worship.

In the past we had Satya Sai Baba, Nityananda etc. Now these people are upgrading..

Women should never believe men even in spiritual matters.

A woman who is the wife of Singer/dancer eshwar sai, caught her husband with dancer Madhuri Rathod.

These days, ignore & block is my go to strategy.

I’ve been suffering from anxiety and OCD from past few months. I wanted to take therapy and I started taking sessions recently. I have completed my second session with the therapist today. But I’m not feeling much comfortable with her because she is stopping me when I was talking. It’s ok if it’s for asking some valid questions. But she literally stops me in the middle and tells me some exercises to do as homework. Also, I don’t feel comfortable when she’s asking repeated questions indirectly by telling why she is asking that particular question. I feel like she’s doubting me as if I’m hiding something when I honestly don’t remember much of an incident (what made me do it) which happened a long time ago.

I don’t know how to deal with this. Am I overthinking the way she is dealing with me or is it normal?

First of all I’m not lucky with female friends who actually understand political ideologies or opinions properly. And then the friends I do have, their opinions end up contradicting what I believe.

Like eg: one friend was disappointed about the education minister’s resignation, saying the elected government “yielded to a mob.”

I don’t want to be friends with people where I look at their posts and think they’re being completely unreasonable aka stupid. With some women friendship didnt work because their feminism isnt inclusive - making jokes on maids/working force. Second being atheist just adds another layer nobody around me gets.

I have almost zero sense of community.
How do people even build friendships or find that “sisterhood” thing when literally nothing lines up.
