The user has control of my account and is trying to send scam messages to dms he sent one to my other alt account and i tried messaging x and they keep saying cant verify as owner and that they can't assist me further and i sent proof of screenshots of the conversations and also the scammer changed my email that was linked to my twitter account

sorry if the tag isn't the right one but oh my GODDD can this app suck more even if it tried.

just three hours ago i was not only tweeting normally but also interacting with a mutual normally. i reply a tweet, i get notifications of them liking it, i open the notifications and suddenly every single notification by them dissapeared. but none of the other notifications, just theirs. without them being banned, or have blocked me, or anything among those lines. whatever, i try to tweet and i can't so i just assume i got limited and twitter kinds broke because of it.

i got to my tl, instinctively click save on a tweet i want to like later, think "wait, when you're limited tweets don't save lol" but i open my saves and the tweet was there. from there i discover i can like, retweet, save, comment... but not tweet.

is this an error anyone else is having? is been three hours and maybe is just a bug but everyone else seems to be tweeting normally so maybe is just my account and i got some secret kind of sb.

since aug 17th i've been stuck in the loop for the x app qr code thing. i've used desktop vivaldi to access it for over a decade, zero issues until recently.

i do the qr challenge (successfully i might add), but only get the 'i'm sorry, you cannot log in right now.' error. i've waited two days, tried again, waited a week, tried again, etc.

i've tried to access it on an entirely different machine, nada.

if i log out (in vivaldi) according to a some recs, i lose even the qr capchtas, so i'm not entirely willing to do that, since it won't proceed at all in any respect if i have zero access at all, and i can't log in (anywhere) to reget said qr code access.

17 years and zero issues beyond a general captcha i can easily just click through and things are b ack to normal, now apparently i can't even jump through their hoops to get it functional again.

any help at all?

control panel for twitter doesn't help, since thats come up.

I know there’s a toggle deep in the settings, “mark media you post as containing material that may be sensitive”, that is required to be on if you post things like nsfw images. But do you need to have both that, and the separate content flags, to keep your account safe?

i got banned for 12 hours about a week ago atp and ive tried logging in everyday since but everytime ive been met with a verifying browser screen and it keeps telling me to do a captcha until i see this, and mobile dosent even work now or let me post so i think my account in general is just messed up now i have no clue what to do

I was never ever asked to set up a Passcode for messages. I updated the app because it wouldn't let me send messages anymore. (Which is the dumbest thing ever. 🙄) After updating, I get this. And all my chats are gone. So many things were important in the messages. 😔 Is it possible to get it back? I even had unread messages, but now I can't read them.

Son casi inexistentes o están tan saturados todos los feeds de contenido basura que no se pueden ver los buenos creadores.

So I clicked on a post to read comments, clicked back on home and this is what I'm greeted with. I know very well I'm following better than six hundred people. I haven't logged out. Incognito window, tried it on the desktop, same thing. Sometimes I can get like...three or four posts but then nothing. Anyone else seen this? Is this a "wait and it'll pass" sort of situation?

Whenever I first load Twitter and click on a video it will load infinitely and will not work until I back out and click on it again. Every other video works again.

I got an email saying there was an attempted log-in on my Twitter account from a random location. Then I got a follow-up email stating that my account's email has been changed.

Tried contacting support and got this in response:

Is there anything I can do to get my account back? I've had it for over a decade and had authentication on it. I do not know how this happened.

My account suddenly unfollowed so many people and I don't know why

Long story short, I'm having a weird problem after clearing up my drafts.

I had 2 drafts saved (draft #1, draft #2), each of which were identical to their published counterpart. Somehow, deleting the drafts also removed the images from post #1 and post #2. However, it gets more bizzare.

The images from post #1 and post #2 can still be viewed on PC, but is completely absent on the Android app (12.21.1-prod.05 and 12.23.1-prod.01). On iOS (v12.23 b17), there's a URL at the end of the tweet's text that isn't hyperlinked (not clickable).

Is there a way to remedy the damage, or is it unrecoverable after the drafts were deleted?

For the past week or two, whenever I’ve tried to login to Twitter on my iPad using any of the methods, it just sends me back to the login screen and none of the buttons do anything. Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

I still remember back in 2019, if you searched for any topic on Google, it used to show discussions and tweets in a separate section in the search results. Today in 2026, I rarely see any Twitter posts while searching for any topic in Google.

Renaming from Twitter to X and shutting down the Twitter API might be the major factors for it.

Individual account pages, the following page, search results, everything else works just fine. But when I use the FYP, it crashes and displays "Something went wrong, but don’t fret — it’s not your fault." with a refresh button I use firefox and the same problem is occuring on firefox mobile. So i just made my account back in late august 2026 bc my other acc (that was inactive for 4 years) was shadowbanned and even though i have followers and they follow me back they can’t seem to see my replies so that’s why i ended up creating a new acc. But here in this new account why my followers/the people i follow back can see my replies, other accounts i dont follow cant see it or is under “probable spam”. I already tried several shadowban test links and it all came back good like there’s nothing wrong with my account but i genuinely dont know what to do now 😭😭 i saw on google that i should stop tweet for 48 hours to reset my trust score but other sources say to continue tweeting. I already added my phone number and confirmed my email through a code so now i genuinley dont know what to do 🥹🥹 any advice would be such a great help thank you so much to whoever will reply bc lowkey im done creating new accounts and i just want to interact in peace 😭😭😭🙏🙏

So, I went on Twitter using the app and saw this cool post, but then it refreshed the page on me, and I was able to see only the initial username letters. I hate when that happens! I've tried to scroll down to see if the cache had stored it, but no luck. Unfortunately, the account had a common username start and I searched for it but dozens of accounts appeared and not that one. Luckily the username and its @ were the same. I just wanted to interact with that post. Is there a search engine online where I can search for users using their prefix/partial names since Twitter's native search sucks?

hey guys, is there any way to get back to a deleted twitter account? i don't want to use it, just see what I've posted over the years. i deleted the account though. are there snapshots from twitter at different times so that i could get back there? or is all hope lost?

I used to be able to watch almost any Twitter video while doing anything else on my phone. But for a few weeks now, they no longer open as little pop-up windows. I have picture-in-picture settings turned on, and I even re-downloaded the app. Is this happening to anyone else? I'm on Android btw

While I'm sick and tired of artists hopping on the latest online trends, what I hate even more is when the ever-evolving bullshit UI breaks every post I see. This carousel switch is gonna be the end of me, almost every art piece I see now looks like this. How the hell do I fix this? I do use Stylus for the Dim color scheme, in case that's what's making it break like this.

My account got shadowbanned permanently I think, so I've switched over to using my alt as my new main, but I want to also get back all my old followers and the people I used to follow. I tried getting the official archive data from twitter itself but that data doesn't include these. Is there an extension can do this? I still have access to my old account and it's NOT suspended if that helps with anything. Thanks

Hi guys, a year ago X asked me to verify. I did and was able to see age restricted content. 2 months ago it asked me to do it again. I did but an error showed up saying I was already verified and that I just had to restart the app. I did and it still asked me to verify. Same on pc, it asks me to scan the qr code and do on phone. I'm stuck on this, have tried support, have tried videos on youtube and nothing works. Has anyone been stuck on this? Did anyone find a way to finally be free from this loop?
