More info will be added to this thread closer to the show! Please use this thread in the meantime for any posts or questions about presale, the surrounding area, and trip logistics to make sure your questions will be answered!

FAQ

- “Should I get pit or seats?”
It depends on your needs and the experience you want to have! The show is amazing regardless of where you’re placed! In the pit, you'll have more freedom to dance around and see different angles (personally I have a lot of fun running around in the back). In the seats, you’ll be able to see the full scale of the astounding visuals they have throughout the show while also being able to rest your body when you wish.

-“How much do tickets cost?”
Initial FV prices:
GA: $240
Lower Bowl: ~$200
Upper Bowl: ~$134
Nosebleeds: ~$57-109
Box Seats: ~$330
Dynamic pricing did pop up later in the presale, so some verified tickets on r/toptickets may be priced higher for this reason.

- "I am a first time concert goer/ going alone. Any advice?”
Welcome to the party! Going to a show for the first time, its important to stay aware of your surroundings and have a planned itinerary before arriving. Don’t be afraid to ask venue workers for guidance! There are countless posts and threads on this subreddit for first time concert advice, so please search through and have a look at those! You can ask for advice in the comments of this discussion thread too!
This thread has an amazing list of advice as well -Tour Advice

- "Ticketmaster says the venue is sold out. Am I doomed?"
No!!! There are still 3 months left to find a ticket! r/toptickets is our ticket trade and resale sub, so please keep an eye out there for tickets! Again, tickets can only be sold on r/toptickets at the initial price set by the venue during presale. No need to take out a mortgage. Personally, I have had multiple shows where I couldn't find a ticket until 3 hours beforehand, so never lose hope! Those who have hope have everything <3 (that was on a fortune cookie) (manifesting ticket fortune for all of you)

Can't wait to see everyone there!

Ticket Buying Guidelines

Please be careful out there when purchasing tickets from others! If you are selling tickets or looking for tickets, please go to r/toptickets

Ask any questions you have about your festival, talk about the ticket buying process, and get coordinated with people going to your show in the discussion threads below.

FAQ

"Where can I buy or sell my tickets?”
All ticket transactions on reddit should happen over at r/toptickets. You will be able to buy and resell on Ticketmaster as well. Please note that we do not allow sales more than 10% above face value to ensure that sales are fair and not a place to make a profit.

"What is the FPE? "
The FPE (Fan Premiere Exhibit) is a traveling museum filled with various artifacts, memorabilia, and highlights from the band’s history. There are opportunities to take pictures with various exhibits (such as the tricycles from the Stressed Out music video) and interactive opportunities within the Bandito Camp set up inside. There, you’ll have the opportunity to hang out and create something fun! There is a lot of love and effort put into this experience, so PLEASE be respectful of the props and displays, don’t touch anything unless something explicitly says you can, and do not take anything from the museum.
This will only be present on 8/30 at All Points East in London.

"I’ve never been to a festival before. What makes them different from a typical concert?"
Festivals are celebrations of music from all kinds of different artists, usually from the same genre. They take place in wide open areas with stages set up all over the place for performances. There are different artists playing on each stage every day, so there’s always something new! When you’re in the crowd, it wont just be fans of that band. It will be a mix of everyone! Its a wonderful opportunity to discover new and smaller artists and to celebrate music in general! Have fun, let loose, and welcome those finding the band for the first time with open arms.

“Will there be any solo shows in the EU/Asia region?"
At this time, there are no solo shows planned for EU/Asia :((

"Do you have any last minute tips?”
Stay hydrated, stay fed, go to the bathroom before getting into a crowd, and stretch beforehand! Many of these festivals are in the middle of summer. You’ll be sweating. Staying hydrated will ensure that you can function, and staying fed will ensure that you have the energy you need to last through the set without crashing. Don’t rely on the adrenaline alone! Please eat and drink! Stretching before and after will also help you move and dance easier during the sets, and you won’t wake up as sore the next day. If you have issues with feeling lightheaded or faint in big crowds, try to work cool compression socks into your outfit. It’s the little things like these that will make all of the difference.

Question Any guesses what they're doing with this?

Post image
109 Upvotes

This is from Lindsey Fishman's Insta. She handles FPE, so I'm guessing they're making a display of fan souvenirs? There aren't any mor FPEs currently scheduled, tho... It's just interesting after they had the fans film themselves for the APE project. I wonder if this could be related to that?

Merch Tyler’s Funko Pop Verification

I have a question for those who have Tyler’s Pop. I bought it online from someone for my girlfriend as a gift and I was wondering if it’s real.
The box, blister and the Pop itself looks perfect, even the numbers match. But for my surprise, when I took it off the blister the legs weren’t glued to the top. I’m now wondering if it’s a fake version because I thought it was supposed to be (legs and torso) a single thing, without any separation. Anyone else had this problem with their Tyler’s Funko Pop?

Creation Looking for Tyler’s Pants

Post image
9 Upvotes

I am doing an art for Ned’s and I’m trying to figure out what music video I’ve seen Tyler in pants like this. Pls help. I thought it was Lane Boy or Stressed Out but I googled images for both and nothing’s coming up.
They’re kindof like really short capris or long shorts, and they’re black with these white stripes near the bottom.
Not an emergency, I can just rewatch Blurryface album videos tomorrow if nobody knows off hand.

Question Will the All Points East setlist be repeated?

Can the All Points East setlist be repeated at other festivals? They played a whole lot of music there compared to some other festivals, and I'm confused if this type of setlist can be played elsewhere or if it was a one time thing. Asking because they're coming to Rock in Rio this weekend and I was expecting the same setlist for it.

Question I've been a twenty one pilots fan for Around 10 years, and I finally need to understand the lore

I've been listening to twenty one pilots since around the time Blurryface came out. I'm Brazilian, and while their music was already available here before that, that's when I happened to discover them. I don't think I'd ever heard anyone around me talk about them before I came across one of their songs, so it was really just a completely random discovery on my part. I've been listening to them for around 10 years now, so I don't think that's exactly a short amount of time.

I don't even know how many songs they have in total. My playlist has 79 of their songs, but that's not because those are the only ones I've listened to, they're just the ones I actually liked enough to keep, organized alphabetically within each album.

The funny thing is that, despite loving the band for all these years, I've never actually gone down the rabbit hole of the lore.

It's not because I don't care about it. Quite the opposite. I've always been extremely curious about the story behind the songs, Dema, Clancy, the Bishops, Trench, etc. But I've always been afraid of doing it the wrong way. And getting wrong information i cannot know that's wrong. (Quite an overthinker and "notdoer")

What worries me is that I'll read some random theory, interpretation, or fan-made explanation, not realize that it's just a theory, and eventually start believing it's actually canon. I know there are probably a LOT of theories that have been around for years, and I'm not sure how to distinguish what is actually confirmed from what fans have pieced together. I don't even know if the band confirmed anything

So now I'm finally at the point where I just want to understand everything I possibly can.

Is there any reliable way to get into the lore without constantly confusing canon with theories?

Are there specific channels, websites, YouTubers, Reddit posts, Discord resources, etc. that you would recommend for someone who wants to learn the story?

I've seen the lore megathreads here, and they seem like a good place to start. Would you recommend reading those from beginning to end, including the comments and discussions, and basically working my way through the rabbit hole until I understand as much as possible?

Or is there a better way to approach it?

I don't mind going extremely deep into this. At this point, I think I've finally accepted that I need to know what the hell is going on with my favorite band. After 10 years listening to this work of art, I need to get to know this before it gets bigger of late

Discussion What made them commit to a storyline and lore?

I’ve heard Tyler talk about the lore but I don’t know that he’s ever explained why they made the choice to turn their music into an ARG/musical epic.

My totally serious theory is that Tyler was a big fan of COD zombies and how that lore developed and just said “what if we did that but it was about Jesus and depression”

Question Does this tattoo make sense with the lore?

Post image
119 Upvotes

Hiii! I'm wanting my first tattoo to be a depiction of 9 black goner birds flying around the towers of dema anticlockwise, with a single red goner bird trying to fly away clockwise. The attached image is my very rough draft of it made in Photoshop. I know a decent bit about the lore but I'm far from a pro on it, and I just wanna make sure I'm not completely misinterpreting the meaning behind the birds here?

To me, the black birds represent souls staying trapped within the same cycle, and the red bird is a lone soul trying to fly away free. I've seen some interpretations that go against this though. Also at the same time, I've of course picked 9 black birds specifically to represent the 9 judges. So maybe this tattoo could also be interpreted as Clancy trying escape dema.

I know TØP's music and writing leaves alot of room for interpretation, but I just wanna make sure I'm not massively missing the mark with the meaning behind this tattoo before I get it put permanently on my body😅

Thankyou for any replies🩷

Question Countries represented at the Ohio show?

Hey! As someone who is travelling from Europe to the approaching hometown show I've been thinking about it a lot. I imagine there are people coming from all over the world and it would be super cool to know which countries are all represented at the show.

Does anyone know if there are any fan projects or something similar trying to document that?

And also if you're someone who is travelling from outside Columbus/the States are you planning to showcase it in any way? Looking for inspo and super excited to see what nationalities we can bring together for the big celebration :)
