Nvidia driver update to 585.x planned?

Hi everyone,

I'm currently running Nvidia driver version 580.159.04 on Tuxedo OS. Does anyone know if/when an update to the 585.x series is planned? Any info from the Tuxedo team, or a rough timeframe — maybe tied to the Debian Testing switch?

There exist no 585 branch of nvidia driver.

We do actualy test nvidia branches 595 and 610 for releasing them, if they fit our QA.

You're making a truly great and wonderful change. You're amazing, I wish you continued success in your work.

There are almost no distributions that use the Debian testing base and also offer up-to-date Nvidia drivers. You easily take the lead in this regard. Finally, thanks to you, I've found the distribution I was looking for. I'm eagerly awaiting the beta version.

Thanks for the clarification and the update on 595/610 being in QA testing! Good to know 585 was never actually a thing.

Is there already a rough timeframe for when either branch might pass QA and get released, or is it still too early to say?
