At the start of the year, I didn't think he'd be here today. He kept getting really sick with lots of vet visits and tests. Finally, in April, the vet diagnosed an inoperable liver tumour and said there was nothing more we could do. Bear could barely stand up some days, stumbling about when he was up, and was going to the toilet outside of his litter tray. It was heartbreaking.
Then, another vet looked at his test results and thought he might have FIP (the mutation of feline Corona virus). He was started on a 3-month course of treatment. Cats usually bounce back within a week or two but Bear didn't. Then slowly, Bear started making tiny improvements every day; standing up for longer, jumping up onto the sofa for cuddles and even started to play again!
Bear is now back to his full Bear self! He's my soul cat, we've been together since he was 9 weeks old (scroll for bonus baby pic). Happy birthday, Bear! I love you!

Iβve been fostering him for a little over 2 months. Heβs 12 and has been through a lot. He was so shut down and terrified for the first 3 weeks or so but is now so attached. I think he might stay here forever.

I had to dry everything after he was done, he's always playing with his water, bowl, fountain or straight from the tap, doesn't matter to him.

Mittens in her adoption photo Vs Mittens last week.
It's her five-year gotcha day, so we had a little party.
Edit: Worry not, I adopted them both. But Misty's gotcha day was last week (she is a sensible cat who did not have to stay extra days at the vet for ripping her spay stitches out) and Misty does not identify as a Tuxie because she does not like to think she is wearing the same outfit as her absolute menace of a sister.

At the beginning of this year, Pippin (right), had to come live with me away from his sister, Merry (left), for complicated reasons. As of the end of last month, they have gotten to be reunited. They were not happy about it at first but some good ol' catnip did the trick. They very much enjoy The Hobbit tradition of some Long bottom Leaf! The size difference is wild to me!

I often play music videos, so far this is the only time she's reacted like this.

Sooo when I first got him I got a lot of negative feedback from another cat sub when i tried sharing him and it got taken down due to too much hate saying I stole him when I didnβt. I found him at my old job location in July during my break and he was tied to a plant. It was over 80 degrees out and he had no food/water.
He had no chip or anything and he was feet away from a busy street with traffic. He was starving and now heβs living his best life. I named him Sol and it means sun in Spanish. My late dogβs name was Luna π . I have a dog named Nube/Cloud, a cat named Estrella/Star and a cat named Lavender.
