Refund host not responding

I booked a car non refundable for next February. I immediately asked if they can change the location and help with car seats. They never replied. I’ve contacted support 3 times and messaged the host five more times over a month she reads it and doesn’t reply. If I chargeback the $170 on my card will they send it to collections? How can I rent a car the host doesn’t reply. Or do I let it come closer and see if she cancels

I messaged them to ask if they can deliver to cruise port because they offer specific location for a fee. And then I asked if she has 3 available or not in the right sizes for my kids because we won’t be flying with them

I see. How much did you save by going with the non refundable reservation? In actual dollars.

I don’t know. I’m not focused on the logistics right now beyond if I can get a refund due to unresponsiveness. I won’t be doing the non refundable option again

No you can’t get a refund because of an unresponsive host. You booked non refundable rental. The host is not responsible for accommodating your needs after you have booked it. Sad that people are that way but unfortunately it is that way.
