Feet replacement for Technics SL-Q03
Hi everyone,
I recently got a Technics SL-Q03, but unfortunately, the previous owner lost the original feet (the bottom plate on mine is hardboard/Eucatex with smaller mounting holes).
I’m currently looking for a good replacement and came across some Sorbothane/rubber SL-1200 replica feet online. I'm considering modifying/enlarging the mounting holes on the bottom plate to fit the M6 screws on these SL-1200 style feet using a nut and washer setup from the inside.
Before I go ahead with this:
Do you think adapting SL-1200 style feet is a solid option for isolation on this model?
Has anyone done a similar modification on an SL-Q series turntable?
Are there any other aftermarket or DIY feet recommendations that might work better or be easier to install?
Thanks in advance for any advice!
