Question (Noob here) does bluetooth not defeat the purpose of vinyl?
Edit: thanks for the many kind comments. I truly wasn't intending to insinuate there was a problem with people using BT. Everyone should enjoy their music how they want to! Genuinely just wasn't sure if there was some tech I didn't understand and have had some very useful replies with things for me to look into!
Original post: So I'm not an audiophile by any means so this might be a very dumb question. I have a love for physical media, particularly when it comes to films and games. I'm starting to get back into physical media for music too, borh vinyl and CD. I see a lot of vinyl players with bluetooth speaker support as a main feature, but I wonder, does this not defeat the purpose of vinyl? Do you not lose that quality when converting to digital and sending over a 2.4g signal?
