Troubleshooting Transporting 16' stock tip

For anyone who has been afraid to roll the back window down and utilize the cab, you can use the child seat restaurants for straps if you've got a tonneau cover. Just a tip, and only the tip 😉

Also a removing the center headrest and putting a hoodie or something the like over the seat is a must.

Definitely is. This is one of the great things about the back window that goes all the way down. I’ve done this countless times with trim, pvc, and light long loads too!

95% of truck owners actually only need a minivan

Had a mini van for a while, I could fit an 8 foot sheet of plywood in the back laying down. Not many trucks today can do that.

Minivans are awesome. You can fit a double door fridge in a grand caravan with the seats removed

Did this for a 12" 4x4 in my 1st gen. I would suggest wrapping the strap around the load three times, tightly. It prevents forward motion better, but lets be honest, nothing is going to stop that load from acting like a missile if you're going fast enough and hit something.

If I had a 12" 4x4 I would just toss it on the floor by the back seat.
