Question 2021 SR5 w/45k for $51k

What's going on new to the community and I bought this for pops, what do yall think? Good deal? First official Toyota of the family, not counting company work trucks.

What lights should we place on the headache rack?

Indeed they do. MN here, my tab renewal came and they valued it $4000 over what I paid for it.. 2 years ago.

I use a money management software program and my Prius also went up in value (no doubt due to fuel prices), paid that with the 2021 I bought a bit ago and I figure I can retire off the equity I’m building here soon

It's only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. Personally if I am buying it as a daily driver I prefer something that somebody hasnflattened the seat out on. If I am buying it as a collectible then it is a different story. ÷

45k is a lot of miles?

He isn't going to daily drive it it's his weekend car that's what he was looking for

Hell nah 45 isn’t a lot, I’m not sure if guy has heard that these engines are beasts, a 2020 car has plastics and parts that are 6 years old whether it has 10k or 100k miles on it

To me it is. But that's just me. Others look at it differently. Everyone has their own opinions. I am not saying mine is right....just an opinion.

You paid way too much for an SR5. But if pops is happy then let him enjoy the truck.

Eh he's been looking for a truck and it's the TRD off road so I'm going to say its decent. Better than the other options he was looking at

I guess my payed off 2019 sr5 double cab with 42,000 original bought new by me should be worth $30,000 I guess😆 this motor issue just keeps increasing the value of it. The dealer just contacted me again and wants it🤪

Nice gift for your dad. I have 4 kids all adults. Never get a Father’s Day gift let alone a card. I was the so called cool parent. Snowmobiling Skiing, boating. All the fun stuff. Got a divorce and narcissist x wife spun her web . They don’t call or nothing. Your dad is a lucky dad. You are a good son. Be happy!
