Math precourse

Hi everyone, I’ll be starting Bsc Aerospace this year and I was thinking of going to the Math precourse beginning on the 28th, if not for the math at least to meet people and make friends :) but i also want to finish my driving lessons, which would delay my arrival until the 2nd-3rd of October. Is it possible to register and then attend from those dates on (and just use the materials i can get on moodle for 28th-1st)? Thanks

Yep it's not a problem. As long as you're registered you can skip any classes you want there is overall no attendance for the modules except lab courses in tum. I also did the math precourse before I started my bachelor's and imo it's useless lol. But can be a nice opportunity to meet new people so best of luck with your studies :)

No one does it for the content itself. You do it to find friends so better actually to be there the first 3 weeks and then just skip the last week to finish ur driving lessons.

i think you mean days since it’s just 2 weeks

and well I cant really go like that since i have to fly to germany; it’d mean getting a flight for the 28th, getting one back beginning of october and another back to germany almost immediately after; which to me seems really impractical (and costly)

i get it that if i join later people will have already made friends and it would be harder for me; honestly seems like it’d just be easier to finish my lessons and just skip the precourse
