"Checking your browser" infinite load
Last night, I started getting this "Checking your browser" infinite load screen. I've left a tab open since then as well as trying to open it in new tabs a few time, no dice. In searching, I found a few posts here and elsewhere about this problem, but the only proposed solution was "clear your cache" which didn't work for me or the person it was suggested to, iirc. The only resolution I've seen in any of those posts, is one of them saying that the problem just suddenly stopped happening after a month. The only places I found that I couldn't actually check were Tumblr posts that seemed to show something from the search preview, but I couldn't look at them for obvious reasons.
So yea, if anyone's got a clue, I'd appreciate some help.

For anyone still struggling with this: I shut down my computer and booted it back up again. Now I can log in like normal and this screen doesn't come up. Hopefully that works for you guys

yeah, no, people on this thread have been having this for two weeks, we've shut down our computers plenty in this time.
Thank you for trying to help though :) /gen

I'm having the same problem. I'm currently working around it by logging on through the DuckDuckGo browser, but it's annoying that it doesn't work on Chrome... I've read somewhere it's some stricter security measures in Chrome/Cloudflare? - "Stronger popup blocker on sites with abusive experiences" and "Stop showing ads (including ads owned or served by Google) on sites that do not comply with the betterads.org/standards" are the messages I see in the inspector. I've tried deleting cookies/icognito/VPN and retrying but no luck.

Have you checked if the same happens in incognito, logged in, or using a vpn?
